History (warning, sad!):

She was born in the outlands with her twin, Zira.I call their mother Zora. Zora and Moriko (that's what I'm calling her father), were rouges, but they like the lions that came to live with them when they were exiled from the pridelands. But one day, the pride went out hunting and left the cubs at the cave. By sunset they still didn't return. "I've waited long enough! They're not coming back," Zira scoffed angrily. "They've abandoned us!" "No!" Zola sobbed. "They'll com back! We've been left alone for long periods of time before! This can't be any different!" But three days later, the pride (or sort of a pride,) still hadn't returned. "that's it, I'm leaving!" Zira said. "But we have to find them!" Cried Zola. "What if they're in danger?!" "It's already been three days," said Zira impatiently. "If they got into danger, they'd already be dead. Now I'm going to go look for some food. Are you coming? because if your not, don't think for a second that I'm going to share my meal if I catch something." And with that, she walked away. Zola went out to, but she wasn't looking for food, despite how hungry she was. "I'm going to find mom and dad!" she called to Zira as she walked away. "Good luck, you'll need it!" Replied Zira, scornfully. Then she saw something in the distance,sprawled on the ground. It was moving, and it look like a lioness. It was Zora, Zola's mother, caught in a hunters trap. "MOM!" Cried Zola as she realized who it was. "Zola?" asked Zora, weakly. "Momma, what happened, and where's dad?" Zola asked. "Hunters," Zora answered. "Hunters got him, Zola, and I am caught in their trap." Zola started shaking. "B-but what about the rest of the pride?" she stammered. "They left," Zora said sorrowfully. They heard shouting in the distance. "Zola, the hunters! They're coming! GO! NOW!" Ordered Zora. But I can't leave you!" Zola was sobbing now. "I-I'll never see you again!" "Oh, my baby," Zora said. "We'll always be together no matter what." The shouting was getting closer. "Now, run!" Zora told her. "Run to the pridelands, where I promise you will l have a happy life!" "I love you, Mom!" Zola sobbed. "I love you, too, Angel. Now, run! they're getting closer!" And so Zola rand ran off. Don't turn around. She told herself. Don't turn around, don't turn around, don't turn around. She got to the pridelands, was adopted by Ahadi and Uru, and lived a happy life.
