Soon after Ni left the pride lands he found another pride. This prides king was old and weak and had no male cubs so he asked Ni to marry his daughter and rule along side her one day. Ni agreed and not long after they had a cub, but not all was well for Ni's mate died giving birth to their daughter. The pride mourned the loss of the princess, but the new princess brought much joy after and Ni named her Ekundayo. The joy did not last for a few weeks after she was born two rouges came and attacked the king. Ni was about to help but the king told him to take Dayo and run. Ni reluctantly took Dayo and left. They had been rouges ever scene. When Ekundayo was a year old they wondered in to the pride lands and Ni remembered the nice lions he met there even though at first he did not recognize it, because the last time he was here it was a waste land. When they got pride rock Simba demanded to know there names. Ni told them every thing and Nala was happy to see him again. Simba invited them to join the pride and Both agreed. Dayo soon fell in love with the son of Kovu and Kiara.
