personality : elanna is the kind of lioness who's very big on telling the truth believing that if you admit to doing something bad you'll be forgiven and hates lions/lioness who don't tell the truth though she is not above lying herself if the situation calls for it one of elanna's greatest faults is that she is overly sensitive and doesn't take criticism well.

bio : elanna was born into a pride that lived far from the pridelands her mother was a rogue who had recently joined the pride and her father was childhood friends with the king of the pride and his right hand , growing up elanna was good friends with the crown prince sudi and elanna and sudi's parents hoped that their friendship would develop into something more as they got older.

unfortunately tragedy struck when elanna was a teen almost old enough to go on her first solo hunt her father was killed while helping the king deal with a gang of rogue males who were trying to take over the pride , even though they manged to drive the rogues off her father was mortally wounded by one of them and despite the healers best efforts he died from his injuries and as if to add insult to injure grief stricken by the loss of her mate elanna's mother left the pride and was never seen or heard from again.

sadden by the loss of both her parents elanna went into a state of depression that no one seemed able to shake her from not even sudi she would hide herself away in her parents den refusing to come out unless she was needed to help with the hunts or border patrol.

eventually sudi became tired of it and one day�when they were young adults sudi asked her to come with him on a walk elanna half heartedly agreeing , he lead her to a clearing she knew all to well her parents would take her there to star gaze every night before bed , on the verge of tears elanna asked him why he had brought her here and what he said next shocked her.

he told her he was worried about her and that the lioness she had become wasn't the cub he knew all those years ago at first she was angered by his words but then he admited that he had fallen in love with her and wanted her to be his mate and queen bursting into tears she tearfully said yes.
