Hey everyone, Paxis here.

First of all, I apologize for the lack of fan news around here on The Lion King Source.

I suppose I should get the bad news through first, eh? I've been meaning to announce for a while that there won't be a Timon & Pumbaa section, or atleast not any time soon, due to the fact that we've encountered some programming errors needed to complete the section. The section is there for the future in case we obtain the programming we need, but for now it's dead and unopened.

Now, on to brighter news. How's about our much-needed site and forum updates?

Site

For fanart, we currently have MW Roach's 3 Bad Kitties. The characters are Sabor from Tarzan, Shere Khan from The Jungle Book, and Scar from The Lion King. This is a remarkable traditional piece done with colored pencils and sharpies. (: Nice work, MW Roach!

For fan images, we currently have Swift Somes' Friendship. This is a very neat image with great effects! Also a very nice choice of screenshot. Well done, Swift Somes!

Fanfic of the week goes to Baltolover01 with "The Repeat". This is a short fanfic rated G for everyone that is great for a quick, good read.

The fan music unfortunately doesn't exist anymore, and it's the only one we have up on the site. :( Hopefully we can see an active fan music come into our site in the future!

However, we do have an active gamebook! Currently being featured is Stormwave's "Queen Uru's Morning"! This one is rated PG, so parental guidance is suggested for those under 10 years of age before reading.

Our current project we have up is Kifa99's Help me make a lion king 4/3. This project has a lot of members who have joined, but it still has a long way to go! They need animators,voice actors, and - most important - new or old characters who can go in the movie. The deadline is December 31st of 2012, so you have plenty of time to join and contribute!

For contests, we have The Pumpkin Princess' Cubs for Vitani and Kopa. There are some entries already in, but the more the merrier! Join before it's too late!

Our featured character is Khan, who was created by Esca. Wonderful character, Esca! The design and information was very nicely done!
