Mulan is an animated feature, the first launched by Walt Disney Animation Studios Florida.

Emerged in 1998 in the United States and Europe, this film is one of the few that occur during Disney's "golden age". It is also one of the few Disney cartoons where the war is mentioned, and very present. Although not a success as strong as the films The Lion King, Aladdin or Beauty and the Beast, Mulan knew enough to mark the spirit to find its place among others, in performances of Disney Princesses.
If the graphic style for the least original can push more than one at first, the quality of the story, the fluidity of the animation and the game know the colors offset this feature. This film won the fans as to have the right to a suite, six years later.
Only six traditional Disney animated films, including The Princess and the Frog appeared in 2009 in the USA and 2010 in France, will follow. None of them had really frank success, and in this sense we can consider Mulan as the last title of the "Golden Age" Disney, a period which includes mostly works produced in the 1990s.
One of the directors Tony Bancroft, is one of the animators who worked on Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Lion King.
Mulan resumed, with a lot of freedom, the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan. The film has kept a graphic style reminiscent of traditional China, while updating with the style of "classical"
