Great. I'm glad to hear that you're back in business.

At the encouragement of several moderators, steet has returned to me my former status as site builder here, Dragon Tamer. Since I have a copy of the sequel, and the original, as well as the books, I've told steet that I will be putting screen shots up and other information, to augment what is already here. Just FYI.

I suppose I could purchase the DVD, but as it stands my laptop does not include the hardware to play it. I'll see what I can do to remedy that, but I make no promises. Right now I'm focusing on doing what I can with what I have where I am (especially that last one since my car is in the shop).
As for Amazon, I make it a rule to avoid online purchases or anything else that involves money and the internet.

I should note that I have recently acquired a copy of the sequel. And watched it again from start to finish. My second NIMH forum article details the results of that. Similarly, having a good-quality copy of it, I think it's pretty obvious what CAN be done here now. Assuming certain things play out the way they ought, instead of the way they usually do.

It would also be worth the trouble to do new screen shots of the first movie, seeing as the ones posted on here are of very poor quality. I'll just note, for the record, that I have the first movie as well.

Oh it's far worse than tone deaf. It's full of continuity breaks, horrible musical numbers (well, ANY musical number in a movie is horrible in my considered opinion), and some very, VERY bad acting...even by those great actors who reprised their roles. And the story itself, while its initial idea had some minor merit, ended up being an absolute train wreck of monumental stupidity. As much as the original NIMH book doesn't speak down to its reader (be that reader a child, teenager or adult), and the original NIMH movie paid respect to that (and was a beautifully-rendered story...one of the best animated movies ever made), this sequel is an insult to the viewer's intelligence as much as it is an egregious insult to the book and the first movie. Watching it is painful. It's a shame...the first sequel book, written by the original author's daughter, would have made for a much better movie...and IS a much better story.

Thank you, Blazetail. I mean, well, it seems like an apparent enough solution to the problem of acquiring screen shots. If I were in their position, that is what I would have done...even if I had to suffer through watching the sequel in order to do it. XD

JC is right, you can get both movies cheep, on amazon for only $15 US or even $5 US, thats alot less then the $50 odd i spent on WSDS to get the tv show

A person with a Netflix account, in the U.S., could probably rent it for practically no cost. And even purchasing it, one is very likely not going to spend much over $6.00. Amazon.com (especially if you have an Amazon Prime account) has it for that. And even the two movies together. And I believe Target has it for about that amount (including on their website). Not much of an investment for a site builder.
