I don't know about anybody else on here, but I feel that that part where Roscoe and Desoto put the hurt on poor Dodger for trying to defend Fagin is one of the most blatant and absolutely CRUELEST examples of the TV Trope "Kick The Dog" I have ever witnessed! Did ANYBODY lose all respect for Roscoe and Desoto when they hurt poor Dodger in that scene?!

Not really. Since they were the bad guys, I didn't have much respect
for them to begin with. Though it was a sad part of the movie. (but at
least dodger recovers okay  ) |

"good guys". And if what they did was 'cruel', to you, you've got a
LOT to learn about what's actually 'cruel'.  |
