The DVD for The Princess and the Frog has been out for just under 7 weeks now. Let's take a look at the stats.
As of April 18, 3,598,563 DVD boxes have been sold in the United States, totaling $56,649,667. Keep in mind this is only for the United States, and only for DVD sales. Counting the Blu-Ray sales, and international discs sold, the estimate from Box Office Mojo is that The Princess and the Frog has raked in up to $150 Million.
If you don't have the DVD, get it! If you do, get another one! Already, this is the 15th best-selling DVD of the year.

I didn't know Box Office Mojo listed DVD sales. Where did you see them
exactly? As for the sales in the US, they are good, not great though. They are around the same as Bolt, which didn't wasn't a high seller. Still, it may do better in the long term run. (and maybe that's also because I didn't count the Bluray sales) |
