disney i think started doing sequels to their original films at the beginning of the 1990s they gave the Rescuers the Rescuers Down Under Aladdin the Return of Jafar Beauty and the Beast Beauty and the Beast the Enchanted Christmas the Lion King the Lion King 2 Simbas Pride Pocahontas Pocahontas 2 Journey to a New World Fantasia Fantasia 2000 the Little Mermaid the Little Mermaid 2 Return to the Sea Lady and the Tramp Lady and the Tramp 2 Scamps Adventure Peter Pan Return to Neverland the Hunchback of Notredame the Hunchback of Notre Dame 2 the Jungle Book the Jungle Book 2 Tarzan Tarzan and Jane and the Last sequel they did was Kronks New Groove the sequel to the Emperors New Groove but Bambi 2 the Fox and the Hound 2 and Tarzan 2 were only prequels so why did the Princess and the Frog Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Sleeping Beauty Robin Hood and the Sword in the Stone not get any sequels .

I'm not really sure but it would be nice to have a R Princess and the Frog sequel. That would be very interesting to see considering the fact that there are endless possibilities for a sequels plot line.
