Story: Berry was found by humans after their parents got killed by hunters. He was an egg at the time and was taken by humans and sent to a zoo with his siblings. When he and his siblings hatched, they got strongly friendly with humans, making them almost domestic birds. The humans gave the name Berry to the most docile. When Berry and his siblings got more older, they got released in a very large cage with other adult macaws. The older macaws teached them how to fly, but Berry was very bad at flying. One night, the oldest of the macaws opened a hole in the cage, making the alarm turn on. The humans herd the alarm and chased after the macaws. During the chase, Berry and his siblings got separated and Berry flew fast as he can. The sun has raised and Berry was exhausted. Hungry, thirsty and without any force, Berry fell in the ground... at the forest of Rio de Janeiro. He sleeped for a little, but herd the birds singing and soony was awake. Animated, he singed and danced with the birds... but all in the ground. He tried to fly a little, but couldn't stay in the air for much time. One, day, while walking in the forest, he found a family of Spix's Macaws. It didn't take much long to the male one introduce himself. The male said that his name was Blu and asked why Berry was too sad. Berry said that he couldn't fly very well and that he missed his siblings very much. Blu and Jewel tried to teach him how to fly, but Berry continued to fail at flying. After days training, Berry could fly very well and lived a long time with Blu's family. Then, left to find his siblings.

Relation with Rio: Berry lived a little with Blu's family.
