Personality: She is very easily distracted. She is curious and likes to explore a lot. She has a dry sense of humor and is very sarcastic, but isn't mean about it... much. She rarely expresses emotion but when she does it's minimal, it's not because she was abused too much or anything she just doesn't feel comfortable expressing herself. She gets jealous and angry very easily. She keeps her distance from vehicles of any kind.

History: She hatched in the Alvorada Pet Shop in Rio de Janeiro, and wasn't bought until she was about a year old. In her new home (an apartment in a high-rise) she was constantly exploring and getting into things. A few months later she flew out of an open window. When her owner found out, he rushed down the stairs and out of the building to try and find her. Soon, he did. She was on the side of the road with a broken right leg; it had been run over by a passing truck. He picked Dançarina up and rushed her to the vet, where the leg was removed, and eventually a prosthesis was made and put in the leg's place. After the area was healed, Dançarina tried walking with it. It took some time for her to get used to. Later, when Dançarina was about 3, her owner died, and she was set free. In the following months, she adjusted to being ownerless, Sometimes others would tease her for her prosthetic leg calling her names such as Peg Leg. But she ignored them. Sometime later Dançarina was taken in by someone else, but again she escaped. Eventually, when she was about 4, she met and fell in love with another escaped cockatiel, but he later left her and took their chicks with him. Dançarina was upset, but she got over it in a few months. But she never forgot about it.
