Personality: She is sweet, energetic and lively, and loves life. As well as curious, she is loyal and trustworthy. She gets stressed out easily. She's adventurous and open-minded, as well as charming, romantic, and passionate. Is also flirtatious and fervent. She is brisk, fair-minded, and can be moody at times.

History: She hatched in southern Florida in a sanctuary that was trying to save the Beale's hummingbird and had already made some progress. She had only one sibling, a brother. A little over a month later, there was a storm in the area and a lightning strike started a brush fire not far from the building, which caught fire within minutes.

     As the building burned and its structural integrity degraded, a beam fell and knocked their cage open, and she and her brother escaped from the building. The rest of the hummingbirds weren't so lucky, as they were lost in the blaze, leaving Geamhea and her brother the last two members of their species. As the months went by, closer drew migration time, when hummingbirds usually head south for the winter, around mid-July. The migration ended in the jungle outside Rio de Janeiro. A few months later, when it was time to fly back up north, Gea decided to stay (she liked Rio more than Florida) while her brother flew back. Her life was uneventful until she was about 2 1/2.

     Gea was flying through the jungle looking for some flowers, when a falling tree branch hit her, knocking her out and breaking one of her wings. A toucan flying high above heard her faint scream, and flew down to help whoever made the scream. She found Gea on the ground, motionless, one wing clearly broken. They could see that Gea was still breathing, so they picked her up and took her back to their hollow. Gea came to a few minutes later, as the toucan was tying a blade of grass around her as a sort of makeshift splint to hold her wing in place until it healed. Still in a daze, Gea asked "Where am I? What are you doing?", and the toucan told her. In the following days, since Gea couldn't fly, the toucan brought back small insects for her to eat. To pass the time, the two birds talked. Soon, Gea was starting to develop feelings for the toucan. She was confused by these at first and tried to ignore them, but they wouldn't go away. A few weeks later, Gea's wing was healed and she could fly again. She thanked the toucan once again, and flew off, but returned to the hollow the next day. Gea got little sleep the night before, as she couldn't stop thinking of the beautiful toucan who had saved and taken care of her. They were mystified as to why she came back though her wing was healed. Gea wanted to tell her why, but couldn't, not yet. The toucan invited her back inside, so she flew on in. Gea couldn't bring herself to leave the toucan's hollow, so she spent the night. In the morning when they woke up, the toucan looked so beautiful that Gea wanted to tell her she loved her, but it wasn't the right time yet. She needed to let their relationship gather stable footing, to find its ground. As they spent more time with each other during the following couple of months, Gea's feelings for her increased. During that time, Gea could tell the toucan was starting to like her as well. A few days later, in the morning, as they were waking up, Gea noticed the sun hitting the toucan in just the right way. Gea couldn't stop herself from saying she loved her. She spit out a lot of thoughts before saying that she couldn't help it; Gea just loved her too much not to tell her so. The toucan admitted she had almost told Gea the night before, but she got too nervous. Shortly after, the toucan went to tell her parents, and show them. They were apprehensive about her choice at first, but gradually came to accept it. Though it wasn't what her father Rafael expected, he's happy his daughter found someone she loves. Her mother Eva is still trying to get used to it.

In a few more months, Gea will save the toucan from a trap and the two birds will be officially together a couple days later. But for now, they're still just crushes.
