Personality: Talina is a very friendly and sociable bird, she loves to make friends and is very optimistic. Even though she was raised as a pet she adjusted to the life in the wild pretty well.

History: Talina has always been a pet. She was owned by an older man who took good care of her. She had everything she needed. The radio was on for nearly 16 hours each day. Talina loved it´s sounds and often times she chirped along.  Until that day she flew off the window. She was outside her cage while her owner prepared dinner. Unfortunately something burnt and forced her owner to open a window. Usualy he locked her inside her cage but that evening was quite hectic and he forgot. Being her courious self Talina flew off to explore the world on the other side of the glass. One she was outside everything seemed scary, it looked way friendlier from the inside. There where strange noises everywhere, a cat tried to catch her, that was not what Talina expected it to be. To make it worse she couldn´t find her way back home.

Some days later she met Zacarias. At first she was scared, she never saw a bird like him but with a little time the two became friends. Both loved singing and somehow they ended up as some sort of duo. Often times they sang in the tent in the centre of Rio de Janeiro. That´s where she met Nico & Pedro who she quickly became friends with.

Two years into their life together, he was caught and eaten by a peregrine falcon. Talina was asleep in their hollow and Zac was out looking for food to bring back to her, when Tal was woke up by him screaming in the distance. She flew as fast as she could to try and help him, but by the time she got to him, it was too late and nothing could be done; the falcon was making quick work of him. Talina, upset and devastated, fended the falcon off. She looked at what was left of the love of her life, placed a wing on part of Zac that was intact, and cried, remembering every moment they had shared together. Now, more than two years after his death, Talina still keeps one of his feathers in the hollow she shares with her new mate, to remind her of the love they had for each other as well as every moment they shared from when they first met to that dark day in her life. When her new mate was about to pop the question to her, Zac's spirit appeared to Talina and smiled, telling her he was okay with it, and that he'd crossed over. After she said yes, Zac's spirit disappeared. Though Talina loved Zac more than anything, she loves her new mate more, though she doesn't like to admit it. She hasn't even told her new mate about Zac or the feather she keeps. Sometimes she has nightmares in which she sees Zac's remains and they turn into Griffin's. They scare her so bad that on nights she has those nightmares, she doesn't sleep for the rest of the night, even with her new mate at her side with his wing around her.

Relation to Rio: Lives in Rio de Janeiro, is friends with Nico & Pedro.
