    History:  
   Lajta was born in a rich family in the capital city of India. Because her mother was once a peasant, Lajta wondered what it was like being poor. Knowing how much her daughter wished for this, Lady Ri asked her husband if they could send their daughter to work as a handmaiden for a few months, in the Royal palace. Lord Ri agreed. Lajta was delighted!
   For half a year, Lajta worked hard in the palace. Mopping the golden floors, dusting the tall shelves and polishing the vases. Through she looked pretty, nobody guessed she was really a lord's daughter. Once her mounths was over, Lajta returned home only to find that her parents had made a match for her! His name was Radakanta,(Rad for short) a wealthy but stern Merchant. Lajta was afraid of him at first but soon after they were married, Lafta made an extraordinary discovery. Despite his wealth, Rad had been born a poor Indian peasant.
   In time, Lajta fears slowly faded and grew to love her husband, The two of them travelled together in his ships that carried cargo to far countries. 

On her first trip to England Lajta and Rad had a trouble moving their ship to Dover harbour. Luckily a jolly sailor put them right. In return for his kindness, Radakanta gave him a bag of gold.

Little had they'd known that the salior was really Little John in disguise!
