Ambao is a rouge lion who lives near the Elephant Graveyard. He has an older brother named Kasim ( Kasim is Penzo's character) and a twin sister named Jirani. He is somehow related to Ni. 

Ambao's Story

One cold spring dawn, Ambao was born along with his sister Jirani.  Ambao's mother and father couldn't take care of him, Jirani or Kasim any longer so, Ambao's mother dropped her cubs in a cave near an area of bones.  

As Ambao got older, he soon discovered that the area of bones was the Elephant Graveyard. He liked playing there  and he liked chewing on the bones. One afternoon, he saw a lion his age roaming through the bones. He had cleaned a brown and black  growing mane  with  yellow-tan  fur.

"Hey, who are you?" Ambao growled.  "I'm Kali," the other lion replied "but the question is, who are you?" 

"I'm Ambao." Ambao replied. Ambao didn't seem to be so "scared" of this lion any more.

"Do you live here?" asked Kali. 

"Yes." replied Ambao.

 "Are you a rouge?" Kali questioned.

"Yeah, are you too?" Ambao asked.

"No, I live in the Pridelands." 

"Oh, are you a Prince? Isn't your father King Kopa?" Ambao asked so many questions. 

"Yes, I'm a Prince Kali and my father is King Kopa." answered Kali.

"Wow! You're a Prince! You're going to be King some day!" 

"Yeah I'm really excited. I'm going to rule all of the Pridelands. I've gotten to see the whole kingdom." Kali said almost bragging.

"You're lucky your Dad's a King." Ambao was jealous.

"Well, your Dad is probably important too right?" Kali said trying to cheer up his new friend.

"I don't know who my father is. Nor my mother." Ambao frowned.

"Do you live by  yourself?" asked Kali.

"No," said Ambao " I have an older brother and a twin sister."

Kali took time to look at Ambao. His fur was scruffy and tattered. His whiskers bent, his teeth sharp and his eyebrows thick and scruffy like his fur. His stomach thin and grumbling.

Ambao looked at Kali. He had neat fur with straight whiskers, thick eyebrows and very sharp teeth like him.

"What do you eat? There's no food around here. Except for the vultures." Kali wondered. Kali didn't know what Ambao's life was like. He couldn't even imagine starving and living with only three other lions. Life was tough for Ambao.

"My siblings and I are lucky to find a meerkat or a vulture." once again, Ambao frowned.

His stomach growled and grumbled more and more. He felt like he was going to faint. 

"Are you alright?" Kali asked his hungry pal.

"I'm starving. I haven't eaten since yesterday morning." Ambao moaned.

"I can hunt you a zebra." Kali suggested.

"Okay, could you?" asked Ambao to make sure that he could have food.

"Of course, wait here." Kali said.

Kali leaped to a sunny savannah and crouched down. He saw a fat juicy zebra that was grazing in the grass.

He licked his lips but he remembered this wasn't for him.

He stuck out his claws and pounced onto his prey biting it's neck and dug his claws into it's stomach.

The zebra hollered an fell to the ground and breathed its last breath.

Kali dragged the zebra over to his friend. 

"Lunch!" Kali exclaimed.

Ambao was impressed and amazed.

"Wow thanks Kali!"

"Anytime Ambao." 

Kali and Ambao were great friends.

Far out in the distance, Ambao's brother Kasim growled. He didn't want some Pridelander in his land.

"Jirani, c'mon follow me. Ambao's hanging out with a stupid Pridelander." Kasim ordered.

"Okay Kasim." moaned Jirani. 

She jumped around following her brother. 

"Hey Pridelander! Get out of here! This is our land." Kasim snarled.

"Well forgive me for bringing you lunch."  Kali said trotting away.

Kali and Ambao became great friends and saw each other everyday.
