Personality: a fireball, always on the go, young, rash,  brave, corageous, beautiful, sweet when she wants to be, loves her parents,

History: Sitka was born on a stormy day. It was raining and her mother was very stressed out. The sound of hooves banging against the stall was heard. This was Sitka's father, Colly, trying to get to her mother. The beautiful mare let out a long whinny of pain and a small bundle slipped out. Delilah quickly tore the sac and revealed a beautiful young filly. The filly looked around and saw Delilah. she squealed and Delilah nickered back. The pounding of hooves ceased. Suddenly a big gray stallion was galloping towards them, his mane plastered to his neck. "Delilah?' he asked. "I am fine, dear." the mare answered in a exhausted voice. "I think I know a name for her, Delilah said. "Sitka."

Sitka grew fast and became very valueable. Everyone was bargaining with Little Creek for her but he wouldn't sell. When Sitka was weaned it wasn't hard. Her mother was simply tacked up and ridden away, whilst Sitka was in the corral with four other foals. The four foals ran and squealed for their mothers. Sitka just stared at them. She was glad her mother had left. She loved her parents but she wanted to start her own adventure. Sitka stayed in the corral and a makeshaft stall for a month then she was reunited with her mother althiough she had no desire for the warm, sweet milk. She was used to the delicious feed the Lakota gave her. Sitka doesn't have many friends because everyone is jealous of her.

The older Sitka got the more friends she gathered. Her best friend, Brisket, she met on a sunny day. The two raced and played. Sitka had only know Brisket for a month when the accident happened.

It was a foggy morning. Sitka was running through the fog when she heard hoofsteps. She thought they were her own. She decided to test it and stop. But, the hoofsteps didn't stop. Sitka was not one to run from a mystery but it was eerie to be able to hear something so close and not be able to see it. she ran into her friend, Brisket. Brisket had just spooked when Nicholas(the Eagle from the movie) had flown to close. The eagle was hurt and Brisket offered him a ride through the fog. So they continued to find a way through the dense fog. Nicholas was staring at Sitka with his intense golden-yellow eyes. it was freaking Sitka out. She went faster, and Brisket slowed. They lost each other. Sitka went the wrong way. she couldn't see and paniced. She saw where she was too late. She scrabbled for traction, but fell over the side of the small cliff. She rolled several feet, and her leg got caught against a rock. She heard a snap and let out a whinny of desperation and pain. She fell down the rest of the cliff then hit the ground with a sickening thump. She didn't rise. Brisket heard the whinny and ran to rescue her friend. Sapphire, who had been roaming, ahd heard the whinny as well. Both horses slid down the hill to their broken friend. Together, they got her back to the Lakota village where she began to heal. Her leg healed, but she could never run very fast, and her leg hurt if she ran too far or fast.
