History:

 

 

 

Amarillo was born into the Black Blood Herd. His father was the leader there, the well-known stallion, Soul Eater, who was the son of the legendary Albino. His dam was a purebred Thoroughbred who had given up on life.

 

Amarillo grew close to this sire. But, as time went on, he began to question his father's sanity.

 

He then fell in love. He and Luna were secretly seeing each other after the herd fell asleep for a year. unknowingly, the mare was pregnant with Amarillo's son. Soul must have noticed her getting plumper. He never saw Luna with the stallion he assigned her with but instead often caught her with  Amarillo. He knew who was going on here and took action.

 

Luna was separated from Amarillo and forced to be Soul's. Amarillo was beaten and scarred. When the foal was born everything happened fast. Both Soul and Amarillo were there. Amarillo saw the glint in his father's eyes and the stallion struck out at the colt. the stallion's hoof sliced through the filly's chest and tore it from the buttom up to his chin. Then he walked away, condemning the filly to death and banning Amarillo from the herd. He forced Luna to come with him. Amarillo would never see her again.

 

Amarillo managed to save his daughter from bleeding out, but the battle was far from over.

 

Amarillo's daughter was starving. he refused to eat grass. Amarillo had to do something. So when he stumbled upon a huge herd he knew he had to ask for help. the leader there Was aggressive at first, seeing Amarillo has a threat to his herd, but when he saw the starving foal he softened. Spark found a adopted mother for Promise.. Amarillo stays on the outskirts of the herd, not sure if he is welcomed or not.
 

 Amarillo was approached by a strange mare oneday. she didn't know the stallion's story and wanted to know why he was hanging around her son's herd. She was aggressive at first and tried to use her tricks to confuse him. But Amarillo was clever himself and didn't fall for her tricks. he told her the truth and she saw sympathy on her face. they began to talk about their sins and eventually became friends. She coaxed him into joining her son's herd. Eventually Spark and Rogue became more than just friends.
