Personality- Serious, stoic, brave, and calm. Can be quick to temper at times. Rather intelligent. Is something akin to being the stereotypical soldier. He is extremely trustworthy. Proud. Does not launch himself into anything; he thinks everything out. Definitely a strategist. Very caring of the ones he trusts. Is not easy to become fearful of anything, no matter the situation. Humble and determined.

Likes- Running, being a military horse, running, seasons, being ridden, the officers he knows, his stable mates, walking through water.

Dislikes- Having to trudge through mud, Bellevue (sometimes), getting lost, arguing, losing his cool.

Biography-

Unlike other horses, Atticus was born into the military. Both of his parents were great military horses; both thoroughbreds, and were bred together to create the best possible offspring. Atticus was the first foal born from the two horses and as soon as he was weaned, his training began. From the begining, it was clear Atticus was going to be a success; the young foal was hard to spook and already had the endurance, and bravery needed for long treks and possible war. He also had a good disposition; which was definitely a plus.

Atticus grew into a well-liked and respected military horse. Many of the younger horses looked up to the towering thoroughbred, and he did what he could to pass on any advice or tips that had worked for him. He had grown accustomed to the drills and rountines, so it was a surprise to him when it all stopped. He was given a new rider; barely a full grown human and was set out along with other horses and humans to go somewhere. Atticus and his rider bonded greatly over this time as over the long journey, the boy had told him about his own family and experiences along the journey and Atticus had given him companionship. As it turned out they were setting up a new camp; a new fort far from the one they'd just left. Atticus was less than thrilled, but helped pull any logs, or supplies they needed.

This was all in vain, when in the middle of the night; native americans attacked. The military group had never realized that they were on the tribe's land which proved to be a deadly mistake. Atticus' rider managed to get the bay stallion out of the makeshift stable, and ordered him to run. Atticus took off, but the stopped to turn around for the boy, but he was already gone; lost in the fray. With a heavy heart, Atticus continued on, not stopping until morning, when he reached a quiet forest. He stumbled upon a frantic tobaino stallion; not much older than himself. The stallion ran up to him and asked if he'd seen his herd. Atticus, confused replied with a gruff no. The stallion introduced himself as Bellevue and began rambling about a fire, some horse named Spirit, and again, a herd. Atticus shushed the Bellevue and assured the stallion he'd help find this herd he couldn't shut up about.

Other-

-Atticus sometimes has a hard time putting up with Bellevue. He does trust the stallion, though.

-Atticus is not so sure about the herd Bellevue is constantly talking about; he'd rather go back to the military, but a promise is a promise.

-Even though Bellevue is unaware; Atticus is constantly looking for the rider that saved his life.
