His mother was Ezperenza's half sister. So he was born in the Cimarron herd. He grew up with Spirit and the others. But the other foals didn't seem to like him much because of his unusal color. He was kicked away a lot as a foal. His crush was taken away from him when he was only a few days old. She was the only one who really liked him.

He never met his real father. But he saw Strider as his father.

He was captured a long with a few other colts when he was about a year old. He was taken away from his mom, his 'dad', his home. He is now fourced to obay the humans. But one day..."I'll be free!" he says
