Relationships
Family: Father- Soledad, Mother- Graceful Stride
Foals: None
Mate: None
Crush: One mare has caught his eye but he won't tell
Relationships:
John- Owner of Captain and best friend. At times it seems the two share a brain and often he dosn't even need to wear a bridal when out riding. Captain trusts him with his life and never hesitates when given an order, no matter how seemingly ridiculous. John has known Captain since he was born and the two are pretty much inseperable.
Ace- Ace is Captain's best friend since joining the calvary. The two are kept in the same stable next to each other. Captain is the brains in their little duo and Ace the brawn. Even though they are almost complete opposites they get along well. Captain also somewhat looks up to Ace as a rolemodel.
Arrow- (My Spirit OC on DA) Captain's past crush and friend. Her cheerful and friendly personality won him over quickly but when Spirit showed up at the fort he saw she knew this stallion and had strong feelings towards him. She left with Spirit when he realesed the calvary mounts and hasn't seen her since.
Fidelin- Captain's friend from the calvary. Both their owners are at the calvary and they met through their work. He admires his strength and bravery.
Sandy- An aquintence from the fort and the only dog he's met there. Sometimes when he's running around for fun he's taken by surprise when he looks down to see the yellow lab running next to him and keeping pace. He enjoys running with her but has to remember not to push it too much since it's harder for her to keep up.
?????- A beautiful mare he's seen at the Lakota tribe. He has a big crush on her but is too shy to say anything.
(If you own a horse in the calvary pm me too add them here!)
Herd: None, not wild
Owner: John Sawyer
History
Captain was born at a raceing farm owned by a wealthy family, the Davis's. They owned many big named racers and well known in the horse breeding world. Captain grew up with the other foals born that year and looked after by the stablehand named John Sawyer. Out of all the foals that year Captain was his favorite. He took a quick liking to John and was always following him around and was there to greet him in the morning.
The foals soon turned into yearlings and where starting their first training. Out off all the others in his group Captain learned the fastest. As he grew his muscles became more defined as he grew from colt to stallion. When the time to train with a jockey came he wasn't as successul as his owners would have thought. They quickly retired him to the pasture where John still came to visit him.
One night John did something very risky and took some of the tack out late at night and rode him around the pasture. Little did he the stable owner, Mr.Davis, was up and watching him and the next morning called him to his office. He was impressed with the young man's riding skills and how much quicker Captain ran with him. their was obviously a bond between the two. Soon enough he started his racing career with John and made his way up through the ranks.
One fateful night the Davis's home caught on fire and burnt to the ground, most of their savings going up in the flames. No other option they where forced to sell many of their prized horses, along with Captain. The farm that was purchasing him was infamous for selling any horse not fast enough to the glue factory. John had grown attached to the stallion and being young and reckless wasn't going to let him go without a fight.
After the money was exchanged and Captain was at the new stable John broke in and took him. He couldn't go back home with Captain as the Davis's would suffer for his mistake. So he joined the Calvary as a messanger, having the fastest horse there making them perfect for the job.
The pair are sworn to the calvary but are also on good terms with the Lakota tribe. They visit often on their time off. John lets Captain run with the indian ponies while he learns more about the tribe and learned some of their language. He knows one day he will have to choose between the Lakota or the Calvary but till then they remain neutral.

Thanks Ibanez-Angel! I'll add Captain to Fidelin and Sandy's profiles.
I like the style that you put the information in the bios of your
characters. May I use the same format? |

I Love Captain Ibanez-Angel!! My horse Fidelin is a calvary mount as
well. Can you add Fidelin to the list? Also, my character Sandy (the
2nd dog on SS) is a calvary hunting dog who lives in the fort. You can
choose not to add her if you want since she's a dog, but she does live
in the fort with all of the calvary mounts. |
