History:

Citrus was born in a small little herd consisting of seven mares, one stallion, and three foals.

Citrus was the shining star out of the foals due to the fact that she took after her father's golden coat more than the others did.

None of the other foals had Paint blood either, which only made Citrus even more desirable.

She was targeted by stallions and humans after she had turned to years old, but she always avoided captivity.

She didnt want to be mated to a stallion that didnt care about anything but her looks.

But, she got a bad luck streak. She wondered into the territory of the ledgendary stallion, The Albino. He forced her to join and she was no match for his strength. She joined his herd. She soon became in foal to him, but then she got salvation... so she thought.

The Albino's three sons, Hysteria, Takota, and Aidan attacked. They drove the Albino away and stole all of his mares but one. They split the mares. Citrus went with Hysteria.

She became the mare of a stallion named Hysteria for a short while. He made her believe that he loved her and only her, but when she saw him having a lovey-dovey moment with a mare named Ivvy-Lee, she knew he was lieing. So while he was still with Ivvy Lee she left and got as far away as possible.

The foal which The Albino had sired was born sick and weak. Its mother had given birth to it at too young of a age and it hadnt developed the way it should have.

Citrus already hated the foal because of its father, so she left it there to die. Her act that night would haunt her for the rest of her life.

In time she wondered across another herd. But she hung back, watching them. The lead stallion was rather large to be a Mustang, but incredibly handsome. Not that Citrus cared about his looks.

What baffled her was that she knew the stallion knew she was there and he didnt try to take her. He was also extremely polite and loving towards his mares.

Citrus was drawn to him like a magnet.

She approached him and he welcomed her into the herd. Her love for Matteo grew quickly.
