Character: Demon was once a cocky and vain stallion. He thought he could take on anything and everything that posed a threat. He took mares for granted and didn't see any harm in his power hungry ways. This was ultimately his downfall. After the loss of his mate and freedom he overlooked his previous ways and say what a fool he had been. Demon is highly intelligent and incredibly determined. He has learned how to be loyal and is incredibly dedicated to those close to him. When he isn't stuck in a stressful situation he can be rather goofy and tries to be funny though he often comes off as being a jerk. Though he may have had a humbling experience he none the less a very powerful stallion and when he loses his cool he still 'fights like a demon'.

Relationships:

Allie- A mare Demon met on his travels a long time ago back when he was still a hot blooded crude stallion. He was close with her and they even where a couple for a while. But he disrespected her and she left him. He was fine with it at the time and let her go, but she is always on his mind still and it drove him crazy. Eventually he went after her and won her back from another stallion she was leadmare too. The pair now travel together on their own.

Aidan- Demon's first son. He was believed to be the child of Allie's old mate who she was leader with but with Demon's return she spilled her little white lie. His son soon left the herd aswell to learn more about his 'new' father. Demon regrets the time he lost iduring Aidan's foalhood but tries to be there for him as much as possible now even though he now even has his own herd. He'd never straight up admiti it but he's quite proud of what his son made of himself.

Cirrus- Demon's newest foal. He was born while Allie and Demon where traveling and wasn't planned. Like his brother he was an accidental 'love child'. Demon sees a lot of himself in Cirrus and often thinks about what his days as a stallion will be like. He's a handful now even as a newborn!

History

Demon was born to a lone mare in the middle of summer, his father nowhere to be found. The little colt had unnaturally reddish colored eyes but otherwise was perfectly healthy. He was given the name 'Alastar' and it wasn't until later he lived up to the name of Demon. He had an average childhood; He rough-housed with the colts, terrorized the fillies, and didn't listen to the advice from his mother. However, he always seemed to push things a little too far though. Once when one of the other colts dared him to spook the buffalo he gladly stepped up to the challenge. Creeping through the tall grass he snuck up behind the biggest specimen he could find and bit down hard on it's tail. As imagned the buffalo kicked wildly and took off. Alastar was flung off into the grass but was otherwise unharmed. Groggily he lifted his head and watched his work play off. The buffalo was snorting and stoping taking off to the side and even crashed into another grazing buffalo. Alastar was in stitched laughing at the bumbling fools, but his laughter soon ended. A domino effect began and one after another the buffalo crashed into another trying to flee from an unkown invader and soon enough a stampeed was in effect.

Alastar ran back to his friends who all took off towards the herd crying for their dams, the stampeeding herd hot on their heels. The lead stallion saw this and ran down to head them off. He scooped up the foals and brought them to safety. The herds clashed and the cound of hooves thundered over the plains. The horses disbanded and regrouped in a nearby valley. One by one the wounded trudged back, horribly scarred maimed or even dying. Alastar, terrified at what he had done, hide quietly in the tall grass as he waited for his mother. He waited for hours until other members began bringing back bodies of the deceased. His best childhood friend had been crushed before they even made it back to the herd and then he saw two carrying the limp body of his own mother. Devistated he became withdrawn and emotionless from the accident. When who was to blame for the tragedy one of the other foals quickly told them what Alastar had done. The lead stallion, even through the heartbreak, was able to remain understanding and told his members he was a foal and not to blame him for his actions. He was naive and unlearned and did not expect such things to happen. But even with his speech not all forgave the young colt. A mother to the deceased colt confronted him in the night, she would not look upon her son's 'killer'. Alastar tried whinnying for help but she chased him off and told him never to come back to the herd again. She told him he was a demon to kill his own kind and to live with the mountain cats if that was how he wanted to act. Wth a heavy heart he left, knowing she would not be so kind if he tried sneaking back. So young and alone he started off towards the mountains which seemed a good form of shelter for a defenseless creature such as himself.
