Oblivion

Imagine this: You woke up at midnight. You are laying in the middle of a field in a snowstorm, and there is not one living soul to be seen around you. You stand and look around, utterly disoriented, and try to remember what happened before you fell asleep, but as hard as you try, you can't seem to remember anything. You can't remember why you were in this field, who your family is, who your friends are, or where you came from. You can only remember a name; which you conclude to be your own. Then you begin to wonder what happened to you, but you haven't the slightest clue. You are utterly lost.

This is what happened to Evergreen. She woke up one night with her mind caught in oblivion. The more she tried to chip at the black mass in her mind, the more her head hurt. So she took the only name she remembered; Evergreen, and decided it was her name, and began walking in whatever direction her feet took her to.

Of course, she remembered how to survive on her own. She sustained her life for a few weeks, eating and sleeping by day, and walking by night. Every night before she drifted to sleep, she tried to break away at that black mass; to learn about who she really was, where she came from. And most of all, why she was alone and in this condition. Every night she fell asleep defeated, with a raging headache to prove it.

The Grey Escape

It wasn't long before she wandered into the outskirts of a herd's territory. She had nearly fallen asleep when she heard footsteps nearing her. She turned and came face to face with a stallion. He was sturdily built with a grey coat, and grey-blue eyes. He was much bigger than her, and she was honestly debating on running. But his eyes softened at her apparent fright, and he asked her where she had come from. Evergreen was then conflicted; should she tell this large stallion about her black memory, or should she lie? She decided that she's rather keep her condition a secret. So she feigned sadness and told him that she'd rather not talk about it. This confirmed that she was alone and needed a herd, so the large male told her that she was welcome to join his herd.

Evergreen accepted. She saw this as an escape from her worries and doubts about her past. So, she couldn't remember where she had come from, or who she was? She could create new memories, live her life as if she had just begun it. She vowed not to let a day go by where she didn't stop and take in the scenery, or talk to a friend, or look closely at the details in life. She was also determined to forget about the hulking memory lack in her mind, no matter the cost.

Finally got her (sort of) finished! I don't like the way I wrote her story, but I just wanted to get the idea down and into the open. This will explain the "dark memory" or headaches from our RP, Angel. :]

Hopefully i'll have time to re-write it into her personality more. XD
