Personality: Kalona is as hard as stone. He shows no emotion and it is extremely hard to break through his barrier. He shows no emotion to others and he doesn't care what others think about him. He often comes off as cruel to other horses when, really, he is just being his normal self.

History:

Kalona was born on Nite Owl Stables, a huge ranch in Nevada. Kalona was the first foal born on the ranch. His mother had been rescue from a life of neglect and given a new life. The mare was ten months pregnant and severely emaciated. She survived Kalona's birth, but it took her long to recover. She had not produced any milk. Luckily for Kalona, another mare gave birth to her foal only a few moments later. Kalona was transeferred over to the mare and she became his mother. She fed him and took care of him, accepting him as her own. The foals did not get along at all, always fighting over food and attention. Kalona, being the bigger colt got most of the food so the other colt didn't grow as much as he was expected to and he was rather on the scrawny side.

Kalona never was fully tamed. Two years after birth the Calvary needed recruits. They came to Nite Owl Stables, taking several of Kate Ransom's horses, including Kalona. Kalona learned to be a war horse. He was one of the valued war horses due to his body build and courage. His ears were his most popular trait. Being a Marwari, Kalona's ears curved inwards at the tips, resembling horns. This trait and the stoney look in the young stallion's eyes could make anyone, horse or man, feel a shiver go up their spine.

Kalona grew up to be a great war horse, fearless in battle and quick to fight. His future in the US calvary is uncertain, a new threat is on the horizon...
