History: Leon was born at Jess' ranch in October 25th. Most of Jess' friends were present, but Chase, Leon's father wasn't, he'd gone with his sister Ivory to help take care of his aunt Hether. When Chase and Ivory returned, 3 months after Leon's birth, Chase was extremely suprised, but accepted it and promised Jess he'd make a good father and would try his best, it was Chase who named him Leon, after Chase's dead father.

During his childhood, Leon was extremely curious and adventurous, often going out on adventures with his best friend Prim, they always got into trouble and protected each other, working together whenever possible, they were like two peas in a pod, and whenever someone tried to separate them, they always fought against it, soon, Leon realised he had developed a crush on Prim.

When Leon was 11, and Prim was 10 years old, the two of them often hung out in a flower field, one day when they were just talking. Adofo came up behind Leon and pushed him forward, making Leon and Prim kiss, both of the kids were blushing bright red. Soon after the kiss, Leon found out that Prim had a crush on him aswell, they soon became boyfriend and girlfriend and were even closer.

Soon, Chase and Jess took in a girl called Faye, they treated her like one of the family and loved her like their daughter, but Faye trusted Chase more than Jess. Leon just saw Faye as a friend, he still loved Prim, but Faye seemed to begin to crush on Leon, she wasn't supposed to ever be able to fall in love.

One day, the cavalry attacked, they usually did, but this time, it was different. Leon and Prim were by the river, just casually talking and joking, when the cavalry ran up to them to attack, Leon, being 11, completely misjudged them and tried fighting, but it only resulted in the two of them being captured. This is when Leon found out what the cavalry wanted to leave his family alone... they wanted him.

The reason the cavalry wanted Leon was so they'd be unstoppable, Leon was strong willed and logical, he knew how to use different weapons properly, and he had two extremely skilled parents. The colonel realised that since he couldn't take Jess and Chase, he'd lure them to the camp using Leon. Also because Chase is a skilled shooter and hunter, with the best gunshot known to man, and Jess had escaped him since she was 9 years old, she was 29 years od when this happened.

Luckily for Leon, Jess and Chase were able to rescue him, but Chase was mad at him, telling him not to mess with the cavalry, because Jess and Chase already knew the cavalry wanted him. But Leon was confused and didn't understand, when he found out, he felt like he'd been lied to all hi life, by his own parents. He stormed off through the woods, only to be stopped by Faye, she told him to go talk to Chase. Leon was suprised, this was the first time Faye had spoken to one of the family, but why him? He thought.

As they grew into teens, Leon was more aware of the dangers and was learning new skills every day from Jess. Jess was like his rolemodel, everything she could do, he could do and they were close, Jess was still protective over Leon, but gave him daily training sessions, but what Leon and Jess didn't know was that the colonel and soldiers had another plan in mind for the family.

Leon and Faye became close friends aswell, Leon learned more about her, being a zeltra and about not being able to fall in love. She told Leon to close his eyes and concentrate, at first, Leon was confused, but went along, closing his eyes and concentrating. Faye was silent for a few minutes, before stopping and telling him to open his eyes again, he did and Faye told him she was trying to see his purpose. He didn't understand and she explained about zeltras and their ways. Leon put his arm round her in a friendly way and Faye told him she wasn't allowed to fall in love, this is when Leon realised Faye was in love with him.

One day, there was a dance on Faye's birthday, Wolfy (a blacksmith's son) and Chase had put together a carriage, using Luna, Chase's mare and Bark, Wolfy's stallion. Leon helped Wolfy by taking Luna's reins, Jess, Faye and Prim were sat in the carriage, and Chase sat on the back, sotly playing a guitar. Leon and Wolfy began talking about who'd be the king and queen of the dance, Wolfy told Leon that Leon was nominated, so was Prim and Faye.
