History: Percy was born in a dense forest in the middle of winter, the snow was thick and cold. His mother thought he wouldnt survive the harsh winter storms so she abandon him, Percy cried out but no help came. He wandered on for days till his wobbly legs finally gave out and he collapsed in the snow, everything went dark. When he woke he was warm and nestled against the side of a kind mare, Percy was to tired and exhausted to look at her properly, he fell asleep while she sang to him. After afew days he rewoke and asked the mare who she was and why she helped him, she said her name was Sugar Belle and not to worry. Percy recovered well and was soon one year old, Sugar Belle took him back to her home, The Lakota tribe, he met all the horses and humans of the village who were very happy to see him, the friendliest of them all was Little Creek, one of the tribes well known horse men, he told stories of the legendary Spirit, a wild mustang who could not be tamed and who fought for his freedom, to Percy, Spirit was a hero to all horses and he wanted to be just like him. Percy ventured far as he grew older but always returned to Sugar Belle, she knew he would want to leave one day but that would be his choice.

He spent years learning to become one of the tribe but it was all torn away when he was taken, captured by the cavalry, he watched as his Sugar Belle cried out to him as he was dragged away. He was chained up in a stall and tortured to the brink of death, when a light saved him, took him away, a sweet kind face of a human girl released him when night fell and so he wandered till he could not any more. He woke to find a large black and white shape looming over him, it was Fading Light, his savior, the stallion helped him heal mind and body till he was strong enough to fend for himself once more. When it was time for him to leave Fading Light asked him to stay, to be his adopted son and to stay part of the herd, Percy accepted and knew he now had a real home. (more to come)
