History

Her father left her mother before she was born. Two months after Prancer’s mum got left alone she got taken by the cavalry. Prancer was born in the cavalry when she was a few weeks old she watched her sick mother get shot. Prancer slept in the stable for 2 weeks before coming out for her in- hand show training “First she has to learn how to lead!” said the colonel “Yes sir” said one of the soldiers tossing rope around the fillies neck and tied it into a halter. When the filly was being stubborn the soldiers would tie rope around the filly’s front leg and pull her to move (if they could catch her ^^) she was practicing one day with the halter around her head and she was being stubborn, not wanting to walk the soldiers flicked the rope around her front leg and tied it into a knot “Walk up!!” yelled one of the soldiers and Prancer let out a scream of terror. Dice bolted towards her and he realised a gun pointed to Prancer’s forehead as the bullet shot out of the gun Dice jumped in front and the bullet hit him in the shoulder he snorted, angry and he reared and landed right in front of the solider. The solider yelled “Well sir, you should try and hurt this filly” he said. The next day a young Lakota girl named Anna was taken from her home she was taken in to calm horses down “Clean him up” Anna was pushed towards a grey colt with a white face and golden eyes and rubbed his wound, pulling out the bullet, she looked over her shoulder and saw a blood bay appaloosa filly “Easy girl” she said the mare was jittery “Easy” she whispered, she realised that the filly was uneasy because she was worrying about her friend “He’s going to be ok” she said to the filly she seemed to understand and calm down. The day after Anna did this she left Dice and Prancer “Be good to her” she said to Dice “I wish I could take you both or at least try to release you guys but, you’ll be fine, I can tell” she said to the two young horses “See you” she said running outside the cavalry gates and escaping to her village. Dice and Prancer wait at the gates of the cavalry yards and wait for the Lakota girl to leave from their sight nickering and squealing.
