History:
Trace was born in the US Calvary Breeding Base. This is the way most great war horses start out, but Trace would never make it to war.
He was released by the groom, who had taken a great liking to Trace. He didn't want to see this magnificent horse become broken down.
Trace had no idea how to live in the wild, but he eventually learned after a few run-ins with enemy stallions and cougars.
