Well before Shrek came out they were working on spirit 2, but believe it or not the movie didnt quit make the profit they were hoping for. So, all the new merchandise they made for this upcoming film was trashed. As a kid I had the "spirit family Breyer set", but their colt looked more like a painted horse than a mini spirit..so i'm not sure why they didn't just already go with the desgns they already created. I'm happy they're trying to get this franchsie to take off, but personally I think the audience for the show has already grown up. The hype for these mini series just I personally just think isn't met with the younger generation.

And not only that, but the new spirit stuff conflicts with the time zone spirit was born in; like Little Creek and the continental railroad? And as the stallion that can't be tamed he's very easily become friends with small children. So, I just have mixed feelings all around from the horse I grew up watching. Spirit would be like over 200 years old with the new story line and I didn't really agree with the new design of him, but I believe that was an issue with the copyrghts from where I read? I'm not sure, but in all sincerity; I hope the show does well.

I feel like a got a bouquet of flowers from an ex-boyfriend. It's nice, and theyre finally on a right track but its gonna take more than a flash back to win me back. It seems that they might have a different team for this mini series thing and I like ethem better. Do this style instead of CGI, have better songs (less...best friend type) and switch up some staff positions and grab some OG people and theres a good chance. Sorry for rambling, everybody. I just see much more potential. If only I could be in charge and bring these cute cartoons to the front. Thank you for reading and here's to a better future for the Spirit franchise. I thought so too. The cartoon look, although simple, somehow looks much nicer and brings back the feeling of the original Spirit
