Hello!
Just a bit of news! There is a new upcoming computer-animated movie by Dreamworks called Spirit: Untamed. It is a continuation (and also based off the TV series Spirit: Riding Free) and will be featuring the characters from the show. The film is scheduled to be released on June 4, 2021, by Universal Pictures. It will be produced on a lower budget and be made by a different animation studio outside of DreamWorks.

Here is a quick summary of the story - When a heartless horse wrangler and his team plan to capture Spirit and his herd and auction them off to a life of captivity and hard labor, Lucky enlists her new friends embarks on the adventure of a lifetime to rescue the horse who has given her freedom and a sense of purpose, and has helped Lucky discover a connection to her mother’s legacy that she never expected.

Most fans are hoping that the film will feature characters from the movie Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, seeing as one of the TV series episodes had a cameo of Spirit and Rain. There is also a possibility Lucky's mother will be in the film, as Playmobil has upcoming toys featuring her with her daughter.
