Welcome

I aim to create and send many Spirit fanfictions over the coming years, mainly focusing on my character Jade and her mate Durango. Both can be found in the public fan characters at the beginning of the section.

I also have stories and poems on Balto Source, but not as good as these ones. (Although, please check out the central park pack. The plot could be better at the moment, but I think the writing is decent for my age back then.) When I started sending Animation Fiction to the sites I was in Year 7 at high school. By now I have looked at the structure of novels and we are reading some more challenging literiture. Still, my spelling could be better, and I should try to search through for typos, so please excuse me for that.

Now I'm in Year 10, and I like to read books where animals are the main characters (The Animals of Farthing Wood series is one of my favourites, along with The Sight, Fell and I am now reading Fire Bringer). I also love the Doctor Who hardback novels. Go on, laugh, but I love them. The writers have helped to make episodes so it actually feels like you are watching the program. My favourite ones so far are (in no particular order): The Eyeless, Night of the Humans, Peacemakers, The Doctor Trap, Shining Darkness and Prisoner of the Daleks. (The ones I read include either the 10th or 11th Doctor, since I don't have a crush on No.9, ha ha!)

I create my stories at the length of over 40 MS Word pages long and in great detail and effort to bring entertainment to you all, and I also love to share my imagination with others. Having my name tied to an award would make it all feel worthwhile. Thankyou.

As a sort of... bribe, I guess... I'm going through the stories I currently have here on Spirit Source and I am - wait for it... SPELL-CHECKING THEM! I feel I should have got round to this a while back, but hey, I've got writers block and I have to prove I still lurk here even though I'm not submitting. I plan to do a fic per day until they are all done. I will even spell-check Destiny - Romeo before I send it in! For me, this is effort. ^^

I am now adding unique linearts as the cover pictures to my stories. I work really hard on these and I'd appriciate it if you didn't re-upload them - on Animation Source, DA or anywhere. Do not take credit. Do not use for your characters. Do not recolour to post in your gallery. Do not recolour to use on your own covers. But feel free to copy and paste them and colour them for fun! Paint friendly!

Upcoming Stories

Destiny - WORKING ON - I'm a bit tired of writing at the moment and I've got a lot on at schoolI, but as promised I have gone back to it and I am slowly building the story up. Can't say when I'll have it finished; if I have a writing spurt it could be done in days, if I just plod along with it you could be waiting until Christmas, but that's only if I get majorly delayed again. Two parts: Part 1 - Romeo, Part 2 - Blue. I feel that after the last two stories filled with violence, death and sorrow, I needed something a bit more upbeat and lovey-dovey. But what is a romance without a little tragedy?

What do I read?

TimeRiders - A science-fiction series aimed at mid to older teenagers. Each book is roughly 500 pages long, but so hard to put down! I already have the first three, but I am yet to start the third one. In WordSmith magazine an interview with the aurthor helped to advertise, and I hope others will pick it up in book stores, and there are six more books on the way, about one a year! It's so engaging, imaginative, yet realistic - but it truely provokes emotion in all fields. But be warned, there is gore. Hence the older teen (I'm 15). By Alex Scarrow.

The Animals of Farthing Wood - A classic series, try it out. I fell in love as a small child with the TV series and so I am now reading the books. You'll smile, cry and go "Awwwww". By Colin Dann.

The Sight/ Fell - About wolves and magic. Just up my alley! The morals behind these books are unforgettable, and the suprises you receive are thrilling and genius. As is the writer, David Clement-Davies, also the author of Fire Bringer.

Doctor Who - Who fans you must buy these harback books. They are available in all Waterstones, and there is a vast range of stories with each companion of the modern series. Even I haven't got all of the books, but I'm egtting close. I reccomend the stories that he is with Martha, Donna or on his own. Rose is good in the episodes, but in these books shes a bit boring and annoying. There are now three novels including Amy and the 11th Doctor, and three more of them are due to be released. Various authors.

Darren Shan - Well, technically, the manga versions. I've only got books 1-4 and I am saving up for the next ones. They're fairly cheap so it shouldn't burst your bank (£6). It is all about vampires, but with a much better plot than Twilight (I'm an Anti-Twilighter, but some of my best friends like the books, so, you know, personal opinion and all). Unfortunately, mangas have to be short enough for a pick-up-put-down book, so the artist, Takahio Arai, had to cut bits out, but the main parts and the jokes are there, and if you appreciate art as much as I do, you'll love it. The original books are written by so called Darren Shan.

Miki Falls -Manga by an American artist/writer. I got the whole collection for my birthday and if you enjoy romance and the softer style of manga, try it out. The writer, Mark Crilley, has tonnes of videos on youtube on how to draw manga and I find them very useful. Check it out, subscribe, and try the books! He is working on another series called Brody's Ghost so I am trying to buy that when it hits stores.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - An epic series of five books by Douglas Adams and I am onto the third book - Life, the Universe and Everything. These books are a hilarious teen sci-fi comedy that I reccomend to anyone who likes that sort of stuff. There was a radio show, TV series and recently a film based on the series. You can get the first book with a DIY cover that you can palce stickers of your choice on! *Yeah, beacuse that makes all the difference... I'm such a child at heart.*
