if we want to make a character and he(/she but in my case he) lives in the village and we give the character an owner (...i guess) do we have to make the owner a character. because in my case he's just mentioned (...because he dies.)

but yes to make my question clearer:

do we have to make our character's owner a character? even if he was just mentioned.

if you want to have one. take my char firefly for an example she has a owner but in my fanfic she lose her owner though out the whole thing so you dont have to have one
