The recent events (conflicts between the french and english staff, especially), and a long and growing history of visitors complaining about moderators "making their own rules" and "greedy for power", have convinced me that it was time to make serious changes to the Animation Source staff.

The staff has expanded so much over the years, new mods have been hired by site admins in charge, which ultimately makes me unable to know who in the current staff was doing their job correctly or not. It's no secret that some mods have applied rules in strange ways, banning people for little things and ignoring other more important matters. Some have forgotten long ago that moderating means helping the members, not threaten them of breaking rules constantly. Sure, managing AS isn't easy, and some mods were doing great efforts, but currently, in one word : it's a mess.

So I have removed everyone on staff on the english side. I have decided to constitute a whole new, small team of moderators in charge of the AS sites which will be easier to administrate. I will check the behaviors of each of the members I'll consider, I will give my instructions on how to manage everything, in order for the site to go in the right direction, and I will make sure that they do their job correctly after that. In the end, it should benefit the regular members.

Of course, this will probably take a few days, so until then, I have kept some mods on the site to do the minimal duties.
