Wow, I have now officially been a member of this site for over half of my life, how about that?

I actually really did improve a lot over the last year. I've met a bunch of new friends online who I hang out with almost every day, my art's gotten a lot better, and I got an actual job where I edit videos. I still have things I need to get better at but hey, something for next year hopefully. Surprisingly, I am still working on the same project I mentioned last year, making this the longest I've ever spent on one idea. Good sign? Who knows. xD

In less happy news, my cat Purdy passed away in December. No I will not change my bio to reflect that, she's staying there forever. Never felt grief like that before. Three months ago I got surprised with a new kitten though. His name is Polo and I love him with all my heart. Cat son!

It feels like I'm actually progressing in life now, at least, and I'm working on improving even more. There's still a lot I want to do and nothing's really holding me back- I just need to urge myself to get started.

A whole dang decade on the sources. Been a really rough year for me, but I've been in more contact with one of my old buddies from this site more, which is cool. Made huge strides in getting over my anxiety too, which I'm super proud of, and also started doing actual Job Things... so I guess I'm a legit adult now, which is weird to think about. I've also moved on to making a completely different project from the one I mentioned last year... in hindsight that didn't go well at all. I discovered I really enjoy drawing so I'm trying to tell a story in webcomic form now.

Gotta be honest, I have no idea where I want to go next in life. Feel like I'm gonna be doing a lot of soul-searching in 2021, which has the potential to be fun. If we're ever allowed to go outside again, that is. Gonna get my driver's license and go on a frigging journey.

I don't know why I feel compelled to come back and visit this site every October 3rd. Okay well, I do a bit- it just reminds me of being a kid and having no worries. This site is home to some of my favourite childhood memories, even if looking back, they're a little cringy. It actually doesn't feel like it's been that long since I popped by last October, but here I am- time passes way too fast these days. Gotta admit, very little has changed for me over the year aside from the fact that I got my heart broken, but no one wants to hear about that. Oh, and I started writing a book! I actually feel pretty confident about it, which is a surprise to me.

Can't think of anything meaningful to put here aside from thank you again to this site for making me happy as a kid.

I always remember the 3rd of October as the day I joined this site. Not sure why, but I do. When I joined I was a dumb kid and good grief, it shows- but this site was what introduced me to fandom and creating fanwork, and I don't think I would have began a career in writing or be who I am today if not for this place. I'm pretty sure all my friends from back then have moved on as I have, but I want to thank them anyway for giving me plenty of happy memories.

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!
