Description
Flyairth is a character that appeared only in the book.
Flyairth is a character from Tales Of Watership Down. She was Chief Rabbit of a doe-dominated warren called Thinial, which had Owsla of does. However Flyairth was exiled from it because of her obsession of preventing "White Blindness". She took her companions to Efrafa, but they came across Watership Down instead. Flyairth is smart, strong and very brave. She even attacked a dog to save Hazel's life.
She settled down on Watership Down for a short time and continued her capaign against White Blindness. She believed that humans infect rabbits by sight and she saw the warren in great danger because it was near human paths. Many rabbits were getting tired of Flyairth's paranoia, so she eventually left to start a new warren. Claiming she found a safer place, she convinced a sizable number of young rabbits to go with her.
