Mental
Personality: Inquisitive and bold, Inkberry is her own doe – she doesn’t really like to model her actions after anyoe else. She’s very bold and gentle, and tends to be very active. Inkberry was born and raised domestic and as a result has very little survival instinct, and not because she can’t think of what to do – rather, she thinks of too many things and can’t decide which is the best course of action. She also has no fear, and can’t resist getting close to elil in order to learn about them, thus causing her trouble. She wears her heart on her sleeve and if she’s hurt, you can tell.
Likes: Being around Bigwig, learning, exploring
Dislikes: Spartina
Fears: Nothing
Goals: None
Strengths:
Speed – Inkberry is very light on her feet
Clever - Inkberry can work some interesting plans out in her mind.
Weaknesses:
Hutch-minded – She has no survival instincts.
Weak – Inkberry doesn’t have the same constitution against harsh weather as wild rabbits do.
History:
.Inkberry was born and raised the first five months of her life in a hutch outside. She was a show rabbit, but not an excellent one in type and thus was expected to be sold: However, one night there was a particularly bad windstorm which blew her hutch over. The front cracked open, but Inkberry stayed inside for the night, unsure of how to proceed and going through the possible scenarios. By morning, her curiosity got the best of her and Inkberry was out in the open. She wasted no time making her way to cover, and wandered right into Cowslip’s warren – where of course she was welcomed and somewhat admired for her unusual coat. She, however, didn’t really care too much for the warren – they did very little except lay around all day and go get flayrah, then lay around some more.
About two weeks after she arrived, she had decided that there was no danger, really, having never faced it at the warren and having only ever seen man as a breeder and feeder. She grew very suspicious of the rabbits nonetheless, feeling that if they wouldn’t answer any of her many questions, they were no good to her, plus the fact that she felt like if they wouldn’t tell, they must be hiding something.
Not caring to find out what, she left.
Before long, though the rain became heavy and cold. She wandered for many days, cold and alone, and grew sick before long. She stumbled through forest and through field, and as it happened, fell upon a weasel. She got away with only scratch marks to the shoulder, but they were bad. She eventually ended up near Watership Down.
When she was found, Inkberry was soaked through in the cover of still-soaked bushes. It was right after Efrafa scattered, and patrols were out looking for lost Efrafans – Hawkbit and Dandelion where the ones to find Inkberry and bring her back. She was hardly conscious, more in a delirium than anything and incapable of telling the bucks anything. She was assumed apart of Efrafa judging by her cuts on the shoulder.
At the time, Bigwig was being particularly harsh on his Owsla(mostly because he didn’t know what to do with himself), and as soon as Inkberry was getting to be better(and asking many, many questions whenever she was awake – which was still only a little bit of time), Hawkbit and Dandelion set up a scheme in hopes of setting their captain up with the new doe.
She was still under Blackberry’s care and Hawkbit and Dandelion were making a point to try and visit her whenever they could when Blackberry started getting suspicious. Soon enough, she found out but they talked her into letting them go through with it.
In another week, Inkberry was getting better and moving around the warren. Her personality left most of the rabbits bewildered after her harsh treatment at the hand of the wild, as she seemed greatly unaffected by it – she was darting around, exploring underground, and asking questions as soon as she could. She was absolutely ecstatic at the strange new place – and quite a handful.
Hawkbit made a point to manipulate her into following Bigwig around – he told the doe he knew more about the world and warren than just about anyone at Watership Down, and that was enough for her. She was practically attached to the Owsla captain’s tail before sunset, following him and asking questions about nearly everything. She still had the mind of a hutch rabbit, and still didn’t fully understand the danger.
One day not long after she had grown very attached to Bigwig, she went out wandering. Inkberry was fine for quite awhile – but when she got to the base of the down, a former owsla member from Efrafa attacked her. She could hardly fight him and she tried to run – he, however, got her pinned against a rock wall.
But quite awhile ago, it had occurred to Bigwig that half his tail was missing.
He realized she wasn’t in the warren and went out after Inkberry. He had been up on that very rock wall to get a better view when the Efrafan cornered her – he launched himself directly into the rabbit, breaking two of the Efrafan’s ribs and injuring his back.
Before long, he had Inkberry back in the warren. She swore not to wander off like that again.
She realized after the incident how much she really liked Bigwig, but when Spartina came into the picture… Things changed.

Thanks Saske! ^^ So glad you like her. A battle pair is great, but I
always thought Bigwig would like someone who would just eat up
everything he had to tell her. x3 |

What a beautiful doe O: honestly, this is what I'd expected from a doe
to be with Bigwig, Spartina had never caught my eye and she was
honestly a little lame, especially design wise... Great character FV! ^w^ |
