Laurel is a character that appeared only in the book.
Laurel is one of the hutch rabbits from Nuthanger farm. He's a black short-haired angora buck. He is freed by Watership Down rabbits but he was too scared to go on so he was recaptured shortly after.
He is the only hutch rabbit that was recaptured.
