Appearance: Dark ruddy brown buck with points - as a living being, his eyes sport a nearly teal color, as he is meant to be from Efrafa - but his physical form cannot fully hide the bright, abnormal yellow shade his eyes should be. His hind legs turn in some as an Owsla member, but he has a strong, sturdy and sound body as an Efrafan.

Personality: As a young buck growing up safely at Nutley Copse, he was once very kind and sociable, despite getting regularly sat on due to being unusually weakly. He often ended up sick, but was quite chipper nonetheless. After Woundwort attacked, however, he had attempted to surrender himself to their custody but they killed him anyway. After he wandered his empty warren for three days, amongst the dead bodies of his friends and bullies, he became cold and vengeful. Once Inle had decided he could made use of the grieving little buck and came to collect him, Teazel was eager to prove himself worthy of Inlerah's owsla. He had no problem bringing death or disease to warrens, as it was nature, but when finally Inle offered Teazel a way of revenge, he took the opportunity readily and took his role as an Efrafan very seriously, honestly and completely dedicated to moving up the ranks.

Likes: Being considered 'close' to Inle(Close being used rather loosely), the ability to be able to watch Woundwort's death, Silflay, admires Campion, and being able to go out and about away from Inle's warren

Dislikes: Winter, Vervain(he's very disdainful toward the bullish captain), and being stuck underground in Efrafa

Hates: Woundwort.

History:
Teazel was born last of his litter, and rather like Fiver, was not very large. He was more average size than Fiver, but still small - also sickly and weak. In rain and bad weather, he had to stay underground in the warren at Nutley Copse, for his mother feared her baby would be made sick(he never seized to be her baby). Teazel loved his life, pleased and very happy most of the time. He never had any problem with his life, despite the occational bully, and wouldn't trade it for the world.

But then the Efrafans came.

They tore through the warren, and Teazel, his mother, as well as five other rabbits buried themselves in. When the Efrafans came through the roof, he tried to surrender under the claws of Woundwort himself, but the great buck killed Teazel anyway.

He didn't leave the warren that night. It took the black rabbit three days to reach Teazel, in which time he had grown bitter and unrabbitishly obsessed with what happened. Rabbits generally live in the now - which Teazel could not do, surrounded by the past. Inle decided to make Teazel of use to him, as the black rabbit had already decided to kill Woundwort, and groomed Teazel for just the purpose - to help guide Woundwort to his destruction.

Inle took Teazel to Efrafa, giving him the right fore mark and a strong, physical body, and let him be apart of the warren. No one noticed him, assumed he was from a different mark or perhaps a hlessi. He was determined and worked hard to get noticed by his mark's captain; if there was a bad scuffle, Teazel was there to break it up with rough force. If someone tried to bolt, Teazel regrettably ran them down if he could. He knew where snares were set and where birds of prey hovered, but none of this got him into the Owsla. All the same he was a favorite of the captains and before long he had influence enough to set into motion a plan. He suggested after Campion returned that they ought to lead a grand march against the enemy Warren. He heard nothing come of this until the Great Patrol was taken out. He was chosen for the patrol and then he stopped acting so much, not hiding his excitement - for he already knew what was to occur on the down.

The day they rested briefly in the Copse where Mallow was killed, he went up to Woundwort directly. He asked all about what happened at Nutley Copse - rather, he told the General what he already knew. This alone would have unsettled most rabbits. 

Teazel had been going by Foxglove when they reached Watership Down. When the tunnels were dug out and Fiver fell into dillirium in the honeycomb, Hazel was wrong when he assumed it was El-ahrairah who spoke to Fiver. It was Teazel's voice. And it was Teazel who stopped the captains before they leaped into the honeycomb and said, "Watch the first step; it's terribly dark."

But "Foxglove" was standing quietly out of the way when Campion sounded an alarm and hopped into the Watership Down Warren, taking his time.

On the way back to the warren, Teazel slipped away. He wasn't missed - rather, assumed to have gone off in the same way Vervain had. Efrafa had nothing left for him, really, after all.
