You know I could barely recall back to the first time I've stumbled upon this site (Balto of course). I was so amazed to all the work and effort put into such a series of fan sites done by talented people. But of course the only reason I joined was because of the fan fiction; I'm interested into making stories as well. But of course, it didn't start out well for me as I tried to "create" my own fanart. Looking back on myself here embarrasses me every time I sign in. But soon the interest slackened and I would sign in to check once in a while. And now, I'm hearing from several of the mod creators themselves stating of how everything here has changed (and not for the better it seems), it surely puts a dark spot on my heart. Well, I may not know much about pretty much any of you here, I still want to say thank you for your dedication and contribution to Animation Source. I do wish well for you in the oncoming future. You will be missed, but not forgotten.

I'm sorry to see that that didn't work, Jake. But then, that was as massive a source project, given the amount of material, as I think any could possibly be.

As a site builder on Land Before Time Source, I'm thinking of packing it in too. I was the only one trying on there anyway.

Thank you for your kind words. I will probably come on here once a month to change the selection of the week, and fix/add anything that needs to be done, but that's about it. I'm not going to be uploading any fanart, images, etc.

It's sad that it had to end this way, but we can walk away with good memories of putting our time and effort into making the sites we worked on great.

You're welcome. Your efforts also shouldn't go unnoticed either, as your talent in writing makes the content interesting and fun to read.

I came back to answer a few PMs I had received (I learned off site that folks were PMing me), and I saw this news. I wanted to offer you thanks for continuing our efforts to make this source the best the site has, because of the regular efforts both of us put into it. You really have outdone your previous works with all that you have done here, Mighty, and I know there are plenty of members who do appreciate it, even if we only have ever gotten moderate feedback (though very appreciative feedback from those who did post, which was always inspiring, and remains so).

It's a sad ending to the years of good work we've both put in here, but after a while it just gets too depressing to deal with "the system".

Thank you for all your hard work. Without your involvement, we couldn't have made either Zootopia Source or Despicable Me Source the successes they are.
