Great news for you Zootopia/Zootropolis fans on Animation Source!  The English-language Zootopia Source is now open and ready for your enjoyment and your contributions!  Please stop on by and have a look around, and please do contribute!  This news will break down the features if you're interested in getting some details...

Let me start off by telling you about the stunning layouts that we have for you!  Mightybalto1925 has created (with but a tiny bit of input from myself) three amazing layouts for you to choose from: the first is our default (seen above), which is called "Judy Blue", and is based upon the protagonist Judy Hopp's police uniform.  The other two (sampled below) are based upon two of the sectors of the city of Zootopia seen in the movie...Tundratown and Rainforest District.  If you go up to the top left side of the window (underneath the "Languages" section under the banner), you'll see a link that, if clicked, will open a window allowing you to select your preferred layout.  Not to be deterred by the enthusiasm and potential here, there will be at least two more layouts coming out soon, also based off of other environments from the movie!

There are several clips, not only in the multimedia section, but also in the production section, which also features links to pages containing lots of conceptual art created for the movie.  This page will change as more time and material becomes available, but we did want to get something up for you to enjoy.

Over on the characters section, we've posted most of the essential characters of the movie...including all of the major ones, and several minor ones.  The few remaining characters left will be added after the release of the DVD and Blu-Ray allows us to access more information.  Steet has graciously added several animal types at my request...not only for the official characters, but also for your use to create your own Zootopia characters!  (Though I forgot to ask him to add "weasel" to the options.  lol  Darn it!  Perhaps, if he gets some time, he can correct that oversight.)

The links section has many great resources for you to discover, including a lot which were used for research purposes in the development of the source.  We're happy to note that this includes links to Disney's official Spanish language sites for those of you who are native speakers of that language.  And be sure to look at the "other links" tab for a couple of interesting web pages to see, including one which shows you how to create Nick Wilde's "pawpsicles"!

As to screen shots, we're going to simply allow the active linking between the English and French mirror of the source to cycle the screen shots posted over on the French side...for now.  They've done great work over there.  And, when the DVD comes out, we'll be sure to post a plethora of fresh screen shots for your enjoyment, as well as the DVD/Blu-Ray information on the appropriate page.

Mightybalto1925 and Matsu have created (and are still gradually augmenting) a merchandise page for those of you looking for books, toys, games, etc.  Be sure to stop by and have a look from time to time!

EDIT: If you go to the "Music" section in the navigation menu to your left, you'll see that we've uploaded the entire soundtrack, and also included a clean version of Pitbull's "Fireball", which can be heard on some of the trailers and promos for the movie (though it is not a part of the movie soundtrack). 

Finally, we will be adding new and interesting material as time goes on, and especially after the release of the DVD, which is expected this coming June (at least here in the U.S.)!  We hope you'll keep checking back to Zootopia Source for our new features and contributions!
