Personality:He is quiet and shy at first, but when you get to know him, he is kind, friendly, playful, polite, and a loyal,good friend. He is very honorable and trustworthy. He loves to play, run, and race, but also has a calm, wise, gentle side. He is a believer in justice, peace, and truth. He hates to fight, but he will fight if he has to.

Bio:Blaze was born in a husky kennel in Anchorage. Quiet and shy,he was left unadopted, unlike his feisty brother Togo. He was eventually adopted by a young girl, who he lived with for his first six months. Unfortunately, the girl's family fell into poverty, and her parents had to sell Blaze.

Blaze was sold to another sled dog kennel, this one in Tanana. The kennel trained sled dog teams. Being quiet and shy, he didn't talk to any of the dogs until some of them proved to be loyal friends.

Blaze was put on a sled team led by a black husky named Shadow. The three dogs behind Shadow were named Crayola, Barkley, and Jeff, and became Blaze's best friends. However, the last two dogs on the team never interacted with anyone.

It was a seven-dog team. Shadow was the lead dog, Crayola and Barkley were the swing dogs, Jeff and Blaze were the team dogs, and the two unknown dogs were the wheel dogs.

At first, the other dogs doubted Blaze's racing abilities, but after their team won the American Dog Derby with Blaze's help, they began to respect him more. When Shadow retired from his lead dog position, Blaze became the new lead dog. However, things started going downhill fast.

While out on a run, the team's musher was killed by a grizzly bear. Although the dogs made it home safe, no musher wanted to take them, so the team had to be split up and sold. Blaze never saw any of his teammates again, and missed his dear friends Crayola, Barkley, and Jeff, very much.

Blaze was adopted by a depressed and abusive man who neglected and beat Blaze frequently. After several months of abuse, Blaze ran away and headed towards the wild. However, since he didn't know how to hunt, he struggled.

Blaze met a lone white wolf named Aniu, who taught him how to hunt. The two agreed to become travelling companions, and soon fell in love. Two months later,six pups were born. Blaze swore to protect his family as best he could.

Blaze, Aniu, and their pups lived happily together for eight weeks. However, one day, Blaze's former owner came back to get Blaze back, and he had a gun. Blaze told Aniu to take the pups and run and hide, which she did.

Blaze's owner grabbed him and began to fiercely beat him, while Blaze struggled helplessly. Eventually, his owner shoved him into a cage in the back of his pickup truck, and then ran after Aniu.

Blaze heard several gunshots, and then his master came back and drove to his home. When he got there, he beat Blaze severely for running away, but that was nothing compared to the deep and terrible pain in his heart. He thought his entire family had been killed.

In truth, only Aniu had been killed. All six pups had miraculously escaped. However,Blaze didn't know that. After several more months of torture, he ran away again and headed for the wild, but this time in the opposite direction. He did not want any painful memories to be brought back.

Blaze eventually settled about fifty miles West of Aleu's pack territory, and spent the rest of his life in a cave. He eventually met his son, Balto, while Balto was out on a race. Blaze died in 1931, at the age of thirteen.
