Personality

Ice is self-centered and cocky.He believes himself  to be the most valuable dog in Nome, and often bullies others.He dislikes mutts and pet dogs,as he believes racing is the most honorable job to do.He is not the smartest, and tends to ignore stuff he doesn't understand.

History

Ice was born in Fairbanks, Alaska in a large kennel.His litter was big, and his parents were not of any champion origin or anything like that.The kennel didn't take much care of them, and Ice and his siblings spent their early life in quite poor conditions.

Ice was sold to a rookie musher who was looking for cheap dogs to start his first team.His first team consisted of dogs who either had problems in behaviour or, as it was later seen, poor health and no talent.Ice and his team were globally teased and bullied, since they were always the last in all races.Ice despised that, and blamed half of the team for it, although it was not their fault.

Ice's owner sold all of the dogs beside Ice after a while.He moved to Nome and took Ice with him.Ice saw it as an opportunity for a new start, and swore to himself his disgraceful past will be hidden.He started telling the dogs in Nome he was from championship origin and won a good amount of races, which was, of course, a lie.

Ice ended up in hands of an experienced musher who saw his potential and was determined to make something out of him.He trained him, and soon Ice's talent began to appear.He was put as a lead dog in a good team, where he was the youngest.They made good progress, and Ice arose as a new champion.He earned the Golden collar, which made him respected and favored.It also gave a new level to his ego.He became cocky and self-centered, thinking of himself as the best dog in the town.Determined not to let his past show up, he started teasing the other dogs who he believed were low-origin.

Ice was bred to many females in hope to give quality racing pups.He never showed any interest in them or their mothers, and only few of them became racing material.

Ice's downfall came with a race arranged by his owner and the rival musher.It was an one-on-one race with a young male named Antauri whom Ice was convinced he would easily win.He was very sure of his victory, and refused to prepare.When the race came, Ice was beaten, and lost his Golden collar.

It is needless to say he was furious, and his hate for Antauri grew tremendously.His famousness quicky deflated, and it seemed he would never be able to return it.He started training hard again, and vowed he would be a champion again.

His hope rose when news about the disappearance about Antauri's team started circling Nome.A search party was sent to look for them, but they found nothing.After a while, the Golden collar was remade, and Ice was determined to win it.However, there were dogs who were younger and fitter than him, and he found himself without the title again.

His nervousnes rose when Antauri appeared in Nome a few months later.Ice was sure his chances of becoming a champion again were dramatically lowered, but Antauri was not what he used to be.He had no interest whatsoever in racing, and he spent most of his time daydreaming, his mood always depressive and his movements slow.He was bred to Emma, but he showed no interest at all for his offspring.

Ice eventually became the champion again, but this time he was not loved or favoritised.People saw him as an old champion (although he was about 6 years old) who was given the title again in pity.Ice didn't like it, and he was determined to prove himself.

He took Emma, the dog to which Antauri was bred, as his mate.He didn't particulary like her, but she was alike him in her personality.She gave birth to his pups, but taken the role of their raising on herself.He came to play with them occasionally, but the look on Emma's face told him she didn't really want him around them.

In an attempt to regain his fame again, Ice took off by himself in the mountains and was killed by a rockfall.
