Personality: Kenai is a lot like his father Shasta, he's a typical nice guy who gets along with everyone and never looks at you in the bad way, he accepts you just for who you are. He is a care free guy, who doesn't worry too much and tends to live life at it's fullest and thinks life's too short for fighting and arguing. Kenai often has to act as a voice of reason among his siblings, and being the oldest, he has the habbit of acting a little over protective towards them, but it's only because he loves them and only wants what's best for them, even though it can seem a little annoying sometimes. Kenai is a pretty romantic guy, he's rather famous among the females but still acts rather shy around them, and he definetly is not a player who just uses girls, he is a genuine gentlemen.

History: Kenai was the first born son to two huskies, a mail dog called Shasta and his mate Ellie. He was often left to babysit his younger siblings, and tended to be pretty overprotective towards them, like following them everyone even when they didn't want him to and such. This seemed rather annoying to his brother and sisters, but in the end they understood he only did what he did because he cared. Kenai had a pretty happy childhood, he was always close to both his mother and father, and when the time came for the pups to be adopted, Shasta and Ellie's owners decided to keep him and train him to be a mail dog like Shasta. Kenai was super excited for this, he had thought his father's job was really cool and couldn't wait to follow in his foot steps. Shasta gave him private lessons, and then there was the real training of course, and he really enjoyed these bonding moments with his father. By the time Kenai reached his teens, Shasta was promoted as the lead dog of the mail team, and Kenai was even more proud of him now. Finally, Kenai had grown into a strong and handsome adult, and when one of the mail team's dogs had to retire, Kenai took his place in the team and was running side by side with his father, of which he couldn't have been happier and had finally fullfilled his dream. The sad thing was, all this made him grow a little distant from his brother Klondike who longed to be a mail dog too, but hadn't been accepted because of his small size when he was a pup. Kenai hoped to some day rebuild his relationship with Klondike, but decided to mostly focus on doing his job the best way he possibly could.
