Personality: Kinaktok pretty much lives up to her name: She's a sharp young wolf who knows how to get back at someone and when in an argument she does not give up until she's made her point. She has a rather short temper, and when she gets angry, you'd best stay as far away from her as possible. Kina has a fiery spirit, she's full of energy and desire to explore the world around her, also she absolutely hates to see others being put down or treated badly, that's why she always defends those who need it. When you first meet her, Kinaktok may seem a bit cold and distant but once you get to know her she becomes a loyal and trustworthy friend. Also, there are only a few selected ones she shows her true nature.

History: Kinaktok was born to Aleu's pack, around the same time she Niju had their second litter of pups. Kina had a rather happy and normal puppyhood, her parents gave her love and warmth and also they taught her everything she needed to know about life in general and possible starting her own pack some day. As she was growing up, Kinaktok befriended one of Aleu and Niju's pups, Hiccup, who had apparently been going through rather rough times ever since he was little, his siblings were treating him like he was a some sort of bad sign, and the entire pack seemed to reject him. So that's pretty much why she and him became such close friends, all tough Hiccup seemed to be rather neutral about her at first, mostly because he feared she too wold start rejecting him like everybody else. But since that never happened, and Kina swore to him she'd never sunk as low as all the others, they actually started bonding. Kinaktok was the one to cheer Hiccup up every now and then, she was always lifting up his spirit whenever he felt down or had just been bullied by his older brothers. She really hated seeing her friend treated like that, and one time she actually confroned Hiccup's brothers and gave them a piece of her mind. Finally, both Kina and Hiccup had reached adulthood, and Kina couldn't help but noticing she'd started feeling something very strong towards Hiccup - a lot stronger than friendship. At first she was in deep denial, claiming to herself she couldn't be falling for her best friend and it'd just ruin everything between them. But no matter how much she tried to lie to herself, the stronger her feelings got. Finally, she just couldn't take it anymore and she felt like she had to talk to Hiccup about it, and went to find him, only to find out he had gone missing. Shocked, Kina started tracking her friend, and once she got the cliff above the ocean she caught his scent, and knew something bad must've happened to him. So, with no hesitation Kinaktok set out to a dangerous journey to find her beloved Hiccup.

Relation to Balto: Lives in Aleu's pack, and has a friendship with her son Hiccup who she later falls in love with.
