Personality: She's quite shy, nervous, and doesn't like to talk to others much. She prefers to keep things to herself. However, she is open with friends and enjoys to run around and be adventurous. Laura thinks she is ugly, and doesn't feel comfortable around males, incase they call her names.

Likes: Being alone, having fun by herself, her friends and being open with others.

Dislikes: Being ugly (she thinks she is, it explains why in her history), most male dogs, being insulted, name calling and bullies.

History: Laura was born to Max and Jay, two pure bred Border Collie dogs. She was the runt of her litter and treated badly by her siblings. Her siblings would push her around, and beat her to their mothers milk, and even if Laura was there before them, they would push her out of the way. As a result, Laura didn't grow very big like she should have, and was less developed than her other siblings. When the pups went out to play, Laura was left behind because she couldn't run very fast. Her parents were worried that Laura wouldn't make it to adoption. However, Laura's parents' owners decided it would be time for some human interference, if Laura was going to be strong enough. This worked a lot better, and as a result, Laura managed to make it, sadly, it didn't make much difference to her chances of being adopted. She watched her siblings go one by one, and finally her only two good and caring siblings left, Erin first, and then Lucy left finally. Laura watched her be taken away by a human, and smiled, she missed Lucy, and missed Erin who was taken away before Lucy.

After this, Laura's mother gave Laura even more extra care and attention, to get the nutrients she needed back into her. Max had already given up pretty much on Laura's chance of survival, as far as he was concerned, he'd done his rounds. Jay, however, continued to try her best she could. Unfortunately, when he parents' owners moved away, taking Laura's parents with them, Laura was abandoned on the streets of Nome. She was by now at least 5 months old, and had gotten much strength she needed. Around town, she'd usually scramble into anything she could find, at least it was something to eat. As a bed, she would curl up inside a cardboard box with a blanket a kind-hearted town member had given her. She was usually cursed by the town members, and shooed away like she was some sort of wild animal carrying a disease. Laura grew up knowing only nothing that she was ugly, and nobody would ever want her.

A few hours later, Balto and Jenna were wondering around and they found little Laura. They took her in and raised her with Kodi, Aleu and the other pups. She experienced something different to what she had experienced with her real family. She was given affection from Balto and Jenna, and her new siblings were nice and friendly towards her. Yet, she still didn't belong with Balto and Jenna. After all, Laura was a Border Collie. She never began to think any different about herself. They might love her, but nobody else did.  When she was old enough, Kodi asked her if she'd like to join his new sled team, and she became a substitute. Laura became friends with Kodi's sled team, and even a little with Dusty. She is very fast at running and enjoys doing it, she is very intelligent as she is a Border Collie. And when she is put on the sled team, she navigates them brilliantly. Steele is now one of her enemies, as he teases her because she is much like Balto. Laura hates him, and tries to stand up for herself. However, Balto always steps in to help out, and Steele soon goes away. Balto tells her to stay in his sights at all times. Although, Laura doesn't like to be left behind, or inside Jenna's house. Laura knows that she was adopted, but doesn't have the courage to confront Balto.
