Fur Color/Type- Varying shades of brown, cream. Fur is of medium length; but very thick.

Eye Color- Dark brown with a pale yellow sclera.

Job- Was a sled dog.

Mate- Chenoa

Crush- He never really had one.

Crusher- Open, I guess.

Friends- He was close with a few of his siblings; especially the ones in his litter. He looked up to Hudson, and other siblings that had made their name in racing.

Enemies- The lead dog on his sled team.

Body-

Weight- Average; but strong.

Height- A little above average. He isn't super tall though.

Drawn- More wolfish than husky; so no curled tail or anything.

Rendered- A slightly thicker Balto. Shorter tail, and his paws are smaller than Balto's as well. Face is also slightly thinner; around the jawline.

Personality- If there was a walking embodiment of the "strong and silent type" it would be Marcus. He doesn't really show his feelings, he deems that as being weak in a way. Pretty reserved and withdrawn. He does show emotions to his family and close friends, but only them. Can be pretty shy, but he isn't timid whatsoever. Is actually very brave and has used this to get through tough treks and races. Doesn't really like to get involved with others.

Likes- Being part of a sled team; it makes him feel more connected to his family, and family history. Silence, or at least places that are quiet.

Loves- Being around the ones he loves and cares about, Micah.

Dislikes- Getting ice and snow in his paws, getting injured, the lead dog of his sled team,  most wolves. 

Hates- Being in large crowds, hunters. 

Bio-

Marcus was born, the last of his litter. Like the rest of his siblings he was thrust into an already immense family. Instead of trying to get the attention he needed by catching attention, he stayed quiet. He barely even spoke until he was adopted, which many of his siblings considered to be odd. His parents never noticed this, as they were far too preoccupied with all their other children. Marcus never really minded this though; he was more content without his parents intervining in his life. He looked up to his older siblings more than anything.

Like many of his siblings, when he was adopted he was introduced into racing. While his other siblings had been put into teams that were full of younger dogs, Marcus was grouped with veterans. The reason being; the team needed a new swing dog, seeing as their old one had been critically injured. Marcus happily joined the group, and for the most part the team looked out for, and took care of, their youngest member. The exception being the lead dog, a highly paranoid husky mix named Iron, who swore that Marcus was out to replace him. Marcus didn't let this get to him at all; in fact he found the entire thing ridiculous and laughable.

The aggression pointed at Marcus came to a boiling point when the team was stuck overnight in a blizzard. Their musher had released them from their harnesses, which was out of character for him, but Marcus wasn't really phased by this. Neither Iron, who saw his opportunity to finally free himself from Balto's son. He brought Marcus near the edge of a cliff, to talk and possibly end their feud. Marcus let his gaurd down for mere seconds, and it ended with him being pushed off of the ledge; ending up in the valley below.

Late the next day, Marcus woke up sore, and angry. He hadn't died, but he'd come close. The only thing that saved him was the fact that it had been snowing aggressively for the past few days, and he'd landed in a particularily thick spot. When he'd properly gathered his bearings, Marcus realized he couldn't hear, or scent any of his team mates. He'd been deserted. Marcus mulled this over for a bit, and instead of feeling anger, or sorry for himself, he decided to make the best of the situation. He was going to survive, and eventually find his way back home, and when he got back, that lead dog would be sorry.

After being in the wild for awhile, Marcus decided that it was probably best for him to just stay in the wilderness. As far as he knew nobody even knew he was missing. In time, he stumbled across a wolfpack and if it weren't for one wolf in particular he would've kept his distance. He noticed a beautiful tan she-wolf, and in time the two became close. Her name was Chenoa, and she helped Marcus earn a place in the wolf pack. Of course, the others didn't take kindly to Marcus notably the alphas. Although it was a secure place to live, Marcus never felt truly at home but he never voiced this to his mate; her entire life had been in this pack and he didn't want to ruin it for her. Like most young couples, they wanted to start a family, which they did. Marcus was overjoyed, he helped Chenoa name the four pups ; Micah, Opa, Sahale and Anoki. Unfortunately the alphas of the pack decided that non-pureblooded wolves were of no use to tem and as soon as the pups could walk, Marcus and his family were thrown out and if they returned they'd be killed. Chenoa was heartbroken by this, and Marcus was angered. The determination that had brought him this far kicked in, and he got his family as far away as he could. 

He and Chenoa eventually decided that Nome would be their best bet. They began the long trek, and halfway through disaster struck. On an early morning, as the family was making their way through a densely wooded area shots rang out. Marcus yelled to Chenoa to take the pups and run but the pale she-wolf had already been shot, her body dropping as he turned to yell the warning. Marcus was hit next and his world went dark. When he woke up, his head was spinning and his right ear throbbed. He shook this off and ran to his motionless family. To his horror, Chenoa and three of his pups were dead. Micah, his only daughter was gone. Heartbroken, he called out out for her and searched the remaining area. He found her nearly a mile away. She'd ran and hidden under the roots of a large oak tree and it took quite some time to talk her out of her hiding place. When Micah fell asleep due to pure exhaustion, Marcus went back to where his mate and pups lie dead and buried them.

It would just be he and Micah now. He took the slaying of his family as a sign that he shouldn't return to Nome, and brought Micah to where he'd first had to struggle it out in the wild. Now, Marcus works everyday to keep he and his daughter safe and healthy. Whenever there is a threat Marcus moves them to somewhere he deems safer.
