When drawn - A husky who just overall looks very delicate.

Rendered - Pretty much Jenna, as Jenna's skinny features actually work for a dog with a history of illness. Nova also has larger eyes, and "sharper" facial features. 

Personality - Extremely shy. Was startled very easily and was often very nervous and fidgety. Did not go out of her way to meet others, and often let other approach her. Despite this, she was very sweet and trusting of others no matter how wary she may have been. She could be very pessimistic or optimistic given the situation. Towards the end though, she was a wreck. 

Likes - Being with her family, feeling protected, her humans, warm days, lying in the sun, taking care of Bailei, spending time with Cassius.

Neutral Towards - Most things.

Dislikes - Going to the vet, feeling sick, being in pain, seizing, being around those she doesn't know. 

Biography - 

From the day Nova was born, she was plauged with a mystery illness. While her mother and siblings slept, the night was often very scary for the young pup. For seemingly no reason at all, her limbs would jerk. Afterwards, she couldn't seem to fall asleep and took to pacing to relieve the stress of the trauma that had just happened. Seeing as her own mother and siblings were unaware of her situation, her owners were in the dark as well and adopted her off with the pretense that she was as healthy as the rest of her siblings. Nova was adopted by an older woman whose husband had just died. The old woman was a kind owner, and took great care in grooming and caring for Nova, however she was just as clueless about Nova's nighttime tremors.

Unlike most young dogs in Nome, Nova dreaded going into town. Despite being raised with a healthy sized litter, Nova had never become social. She did manage to make a few friends though, and was fiercely loyal to them. However when they would drift off to meet new dogs, particularily sled dogs, Nova had a talent of disappearing, typically going home. One of these vanishing acts went awry when she inadvertedly met a huge red husky, named Cassius. At first, Nova was terrified of the husky - he was much larger than her, in fact he was much larger than many dogs she'd seen. However, she quickly realized he was no threat to her, in fact he was very nice from the moment they met. The two became close friends, and then mates. Cassius was Nova's best friend, and she told him everything; especially about her illness. For awhile, Nova had just passed it off as normal as she'd always had them and they never seemed particularily harmful. When she informed Cassius of this though, he was very concerned and suggested she convince her owner to take her to the town's vet. It took quite some time to convince the old woman to take her to the vet; for a few weeks Nova feigned an illness. She thought it was ridiculous, but knew Cassius was right.

In the end, the vet found nothing wrong with her which seemed about right as it had been quite some time without a tremor. The vet did, however, find that Nova was expecting puppies. As soon as she got home, she sought out to find Cassius, and informed them of the news. He was overjoyed, and his next question was not of the puppies, but of Nova's other health condition which she avoided, saying that she was fine. From that point on, the two spent their days idly daydreaming about what their lives would be like after the pups were born, and what their pups would go on to do, and who they would look more like. 

When the pups did come, they were both pleasantly surprised that there was only one; a perfect little daughter at that. Even though Bailei brought much joy to both their lives, Nova quickly realized that her night tremors were getting worse, and more frequent. She did her best to hide them from Bailei, often sending her out to play when she felt one coming in the daytime. At night, there wasn't much she could do, other than convince her daughter that nothing was wrong or that she had had a nightmare. Cassius noticed the change in his mate, and stuck to her side especially after Bailei was adopted. After her daughter was adopted, her health declined even more. The tremors became more and more intense, and her body became weaker with each one. Her once luxorious fur was now dull and matted. She knew her time was coming, and was extremely in denial of this. She wanted to watch her daughter grow up, have her own pups, and then live out her days with Cassius.Due to this, and her worsening illness, she became extremely irrational, even delusional at times. Cassius, however, never stopped caring for her. Nova died after one particularily strong seizure; she'd grown too weak to survive the tremors. 

Other - 

- Nova was born with epilepsy. Eventually, due to not being diagnosed or properly cared for, her health declined and she died after one particularily strong seizure.

- Most of Nova's seizures took place during the night.
