Personality: Sam is a kind hearted wolf. He’s genuine, caring, and hates to let his friends down. He looks out for others, but makes sure he puts himself first too. He’s funny, smiley, happy and easy-going. He always makes sure he’s good company around his friends, and hardly ever wears a straight face around them. However, when his friends are hurt or others are teasing him, he will bring out his bad side, and is as good as a fighter as his brother, Joel sometimes. He hates judge-mental people, and cannot stand them when they mistreat him or his friends and family. At heart, Sam is a real caring wolf, and his friends are really lucky to have him.

Likes: Running, rugby, racing, sled racing, Pat, Aleu, enjoying his life, smiling, laughing, his father’s pack, helping other members of the pack out, singing, howling, joking around with his buds from time-to-time. He loves just being himself, and being able to express his feelings in his own ways, without anybody judging him.

Dislikes: Sophie, Luke, judge-mental wolves, being judged, his friends being teased or hurt, himself being teased, being scolded and being blamed for something he did not do, and anybody who mistreats him or his friends, then they’re going to have to watch their back.

RTB: His father is Balto’s best friend, and Sam visits Balto in Nome monthly. Sam has been taught to run by his father and Balto in Nome.

History: Sam was born as the 3rd son of Dogatto and Diana. When he was born, he already had 2 elder brothers named Joel and Dan. Sam was the only son of Dogatto and Diana who looked really like his Mother, however, Sam did not resemble his father much at all. Which to him made him pretty sad, he adored his father deeply. Sam was already around when Eddie was born, but Sam was still pretty young. When Tony’s pack invaded Dogatto’s and chased away Dan and Eddie, everyone was heartbroken in the pack. Shadow also killed Sam’s sisters. Sam doesn’t recall any of this, as he was still very young, and he didn’t see his missing brothers for many years.

After this event, Dogatto became more aware, and more protective of his two remaining sons. He never let them out of his sight. As a result, Sam was only allowed by himself inside the pack territory, and was never to go outside of it without Dogatto beside him. To Sam, this didn’t really matter; there were lots of fun things to do inside the pack territory.

Sam first encountered the Bachelors area when he was 5; there he met Pat, the Red wolf Grey wolf hybrid. These two were a lot alike, and soon became best friends. Pat once taught Sam how to kick a Rugby ball, but accidentally kicked it through a window, and Sam unfortunately copied him. They both ended up in deep trouble for that.

As he grew older, Sam became more and more independent, and enjoyed running around and playing. Also, he became more interested in girls. When he was introduced to Sophie, Kate’s younger sister, he instantly fell in love with her. She was beautiful. Sam and Sophie became great friends, and they loved to play together. Sometimes, they would quite often play with Pat too, but he was always too quick for them. However, Sam and Sophie had never had a real connection between each other, and Sam just became that way as he was just as happy to have her as a friend.

Sam’s life really hit a high when Dogatto accepted the four new girls into the pack: Kiara, Lucy, Cleo and Aleu. As soon as his eyes met hers’ he knew he loved her. A bit like what happened with Sophie. Unlike with Sophie, Sam and Aleu really had a connection, and enjoyed singing together and being together having fun. Despite Aleu not being much like a true wolf, as she can’t howl or growl, never mind hunt, everyone still adores her personality, as she puts her wolf differences aside. Aleu offered to teach Sam how to sing, and he is currently trying to teach Aleu how to howl. When they sang together, they noticed their voices matched. This is how wolves find their mate, when their howls match. Sam knew that Aleu was the right girl for him, and it explained why Sophie and he had never had a connection, because she had not been the right girl. Also, later on after those few months, his two brothers returned to Dogatto’s pack. Sam only thought of Eddie and Dan has two new members, and he didn’t recognise them as his brothers at all. He’d been young when they were chased out of the pack by Shadow. Soon, he realised that Diana, Joel and Dogatto were acting a little strange, and seemed to be looking a lot at Eddie and Dan. Sam asked Joel what they were looking at, and Joel did not want to lie to his brother.

“They’re, well, our long lost brothers,” Joel had said to Sam.
“Our long lost brothers?” wondered Sam out loud, “I cannot remember them Joel. What are their names again?”
“The brown one with the black stripe down his back is the youngest of all of us, Eddie. And then the older one is Dan. He is actually the eldest of all of us,” answered Joel.

Sam secretly told Aleu about it, and at first he thought they were alone, and nobody was around. Then he noticed something moving. Unfortunately, it was one of the Bachelors whose name was Graeme. He’d heard everything. Being himself, he told every single member of the pack. As a result, the whole pack went to ask Dogatto for the truth. Being the leader, he could not possibly lie to his own pack. He said that it was true, and they were his sons. Eddie and Dan then became Princes again, the princes they once were.

Sam has also had a few difficult weeks, due to a love crisis between himself, Luke, Sophie and Aleu. As they have had crushes on each other, it’s been pretty difficult to say who loves who, but when all truth has come out, Sam loves Aleu, and Luke loves Sophie. Both Sam and Luke have fled once due to this, thinking they’d both done something wrong. The pack went on a rescue mission to save them both, and they found Luke first who’d recently befriended a raven. Sam had to be persuaded by Crazy and Cheese to return to the pack a few hours after the pack had re-united with Luke. Sam’s friends knew he’d done nothing wrong, and his true friend Pat did not blame him at all for the past few weeks, or when Sam had decided to run away.

Despite those last few weeks, Sam still adored his life. He’s never given up on himself, and had always followed his dreams. He adores his family, and couldn’t ask for better friends, better brothers, a better mother, but most importantly, he could never ask for a better father, there’s no father like Dogatto.
