Personality: Shtiya is very shy and quiet, and often stays by the sidelines. She is not the leader type, but she is a great follower and will faithfully follow all directions she is given and see them through. Once you get to know her, she comes out of her shell, but is overall more on the reserved side. She’s quite smart and can think quickly in just about any situation. She is also street smart and always knows the right thing to say. She can be a bit hard on herself and lacks confidence.

Likes: The nighttime, puppies, exploring, caribou, swimming

Dislikes: Feeling overwhelmed, tight spaces, danger, bears, walking long distances

History: Shtiya was born into the Alaskan wilderness and joined Nava’s pack once she was of age to find her own clan. She had a hard time forming bonds with the other wolves at first due to her shy and quiet personality, but eventually an outgoing wolf her age named Faolan took her under his wing. Despite the fact that they had contrasting personalities, Shtiya kind of stuck around Faolan anyway because she was a bit too shy to talk to anyone else. She also got to know Faolan’s cousin Umiak, but was closer with Foalan.

    When Aleu took over the pack, she noticed Shtiya was a bit of a loner and attempted to make friends with her. Shtiya was very happy, as this was the first time since Faolan that anyone really took the time to approach her and get to know her. Shtiya and Aleu quickly hit it off, and soon Shtiya and Faolan were integrated into Aleu’s friend group, which consisted of three other wolves in the pack: Yakone, Haida, and Situk. While crossing the ice bridge to new land, Shtiya got seriously injured after slipping on ice and was unable to walk for a while. Faolan offered to take care of her, and was a great caretaker for her during her recovery period. Shtiya was touched by how much care Faolan was showing for her, and the two of them eventually fell in love. As they got older, they became mates and had pups, one of which became mates with Aleu and Yakone’s youngest daughter.
