Personality: Situk is a bit of a cynic. He often expresses uncertainty about certain people or things, but it’s really because he cares about those around him and wants what’s best for them and himself. He likes to have control over things; not necessarily other people but control over his own life. He’s very organized in that way, and likes to plan things out, which doesn’t always work in the wild where sometimes you have to act on the spot. He’s not exactly the warm and fuzzy type, but he does enjoy socializing with others and is a loyal and true friend. He’s not afraid to risk his life for someone else’s.

History: Situk was born to a wolf couple along the outskirts of Nome. When he was old enough, he left his parents and joined Nava’s pack as a Beta. His life went along pretty smoothly; he made lots of friends and he felt secure in his pack. However, food started to disappear one day, and the pack began to starve. Things seemed to be going south until a wolfdog named Aleu took the role of the pack’s new leader, leading them north to find food. Situk was leery about Aleu’s leadership — she was young and only one-quarter wolf. Most of all her fiery, headstrong personality often got the best of her, and because of that her leadership was starkly different from that of Nava’s. Situk still remained respectful toward Aleu, but one day, the leader overheard Situk complaining about her to his friends, and their relationship became awkward and, ultimately, sour. However, one day, Situk accidentally fell into a river that was rapidly headed towards a waterfall. Situk feared the worst, but thanks to Aleu’s quick thinking and leadership skills, he was saved in the nick of time. From that day on, Situk saw Aleu in a new light and began to truly admire her as a leader. Not long after, Situk’s friend Haida was expressing romantic interest in him, but Situk felt uncertain; Haida’s original crush, Yakone, had chosen Aleu to be his mate, and Situk was afraid that Haida was just using him as a replacement. It took a while before Haida finally proved to Situk that she truly loved him, and the two eventually became mates and had cubs, one of which fell in love and became mates with Aleu and Yakone’s eldest child.
